Relaxing place to stay, lovely staff great room
Fabulous views above Chiemsee lake. Quiet location with relaxed atmosphere. Good breakfast & popular restaurant. Good big room with garden terrace.
Running on minimal staff so ‘reception’ is rarely open. Strict 10am check-out a bit harsh. Restaurant beside rooms is busy sometimes.

My new rest point for next roadtrips
24h 'reception', I like th4e concept of getting the code for the box where you can pick up the key for your room, if you arrive late .Nice big room. I traveled with the pet, so they gave me a ground floor room, which had access to the front yard, very nice. Clean room, Clean bathroom. Restaurant in a separate building is only few meters away. Great restaurant, even better view from the restaurant terrace (if its a sunny day, mine wasn't :) ) Breakfast was good, nice buffet.
No 'street' or any kind of light. So if you arrive late at nigh, you will have to use your phone or flashlight.

Great room with lovely view. Big, comfortable, very clean. Restaurant for lunch and dinner - good food and good value.

Exceptional
We had a perfect view of the landscape. Our room was really big and comfort. Breakfast was delicious and rich (eggs, cheese, fruits, vegetables, yogurt etc). Parking was perfect as well.

The most incredible view you an imagine.
The view from the balcony of our room was utterly incredible. Photos don't do it justice! Lovely restaurant with excellent breakfast and evening meals. Restaurant staff were lovely. Location is very peaceful yet still handy for town.
Charged for parking which I hadn't expected. Interior decor of hotel is a bit dated and twee. Huge confederate flag flying on property next to hotel and confederate stickers on car bumpers of at least one staff member.
