Hotel Schlossblick Chiemsee

A wonderful hotel in the perfect location overlooking the lake. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, staff extremely helpful and very friendly.

The accommodations were luxurious with lots of detail on quality. They put a lot of heart and effort into the breakfast buffet - something for everyone! The parking lot made it very easy to get in and out of the hotel, despite it being a very popular location.

Lovely location. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, especially Sylvia in reception. Excellent food in adjoining restaurant and exceptional breakfast. Would highly recommend.

- Staff was super friendly and helpful - We had a really big terrace with plenty of room for all of us to sit - The overhead light was able to dim and also had a ventilator in it, which you could change the rate of and both were able to be used independently of the other in the Double Room (in the single room the overhead light/ventilator was not able to be used separately from each other), There was overall smart lighting in the room. e.g. closet door had a light if you opened the door. - There was a Dyson ventilator which helped a lot to cool the room down - They had dog bowls on hand - Breakfast buffet had many options and super delicious. They even had raw honeycomb which I've only seen at one other place before, and they had kaiserschmarrn for breakfast one day which I've never seen before. - They were super dog friendly, dogs were allowed in both the steakhouse restaurant and at breakfast - The steakhouse restaurant is connected to / related with the hotel somehow which is very convenient - Electric chargers available for electric cars - Appreciated the cleaning, the room was cleaned for us every day and they helped e.g. get the water from the rain of the cushions from the outside chairs, provided fresh towels as needed and just helped got rid of sand and dog hair from the dogs. - There was a small empty fridge, which gave us space to store dog food and a few other things. - Location right on the pier where there was much going on and dogs are allowed only on leash but they ARE allowed in the water so I used a long leash and it was perfect, with a great view on the mountains as well

- The bed's mattress was much too soft for both myself and my father. Our bodies were complaining. My sister loved it though. - There are too many mosquitos in Chiemsee which is obviously not within anyone's control but we kept the windows or at least the screens closed and the cleaning staff at some point opened a window to help cool down the place, which was much appreciated, but they didn't close the screen again which allowed more mosquitos in.

Service was great and breakfast marvellous! Bedroom was clean and with all equipment one can need.
