An absolutely fantastic place with amazing food and incredibly lovely staff.

Everything was fantastic, the food was amazing, the room was super comfortable and the view was stunning. The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful.

I can't think of one thing that I didn't like, this was a truly special place and we had a great time. My biggest issue was that we did not spend more time here.

Great- with some small fixes regarding noise

- beautiful old traditional builiding - practical rooms with comfortable amenities (big TV screen, shower etc) nice view of the fields - ideal location for exploring the surroundings - very friendly staff

- the facilities are old and the rooms are not isolated against noise. There are common WCs on each floor and a very loud squeaky wooden staircase. As a result, I ended up waking up multiple times in the night and early morning, whenever someone went to the toilet or went up or down the staircase. This needs to be fixed. Apart from that, everything else was perfect!

A spectacular location run by nice people.

An amazing location at the top of the mountain. Stunning. Very pleasant and helpful owner and staff. A short walk from the cable car station which goes down to Bregenz. Quirky and interesting features, and a great breakfast room, with lovely breakfast food.

We were there a bit early in the season so no evening meal available. We couldn’t get the beer vending machine to work.

It was really enjoyable and restful

Very friendly staff, felt very welcomed. Perfect location. Good starting point for walks. A quiet environment close to nature. Good breakfast. All in keeping with a simple but good mountain pub / guesthouse.

We totally did not mind, but depending on which culture one comes from, you may find a see through shower in the corner of your bedroom a bit unusual, even though it is actually a really good solution.

Mountain hut with all pros and cons.

Clean cozy room with great view to the mountains. Good breakfast. Quiet.

Difficult to reach by car, narrow mountain road. On the arrival day road closed because of cyclists racing. Second floor without a lift with narrow stairs - but this belongs to this type of a mountain hut. Room a bit small, shared toilet.

The hosts were very accommodating and a joy to talk with even at 05:30.

I am not sure if I missed the information or it wasn't posted, at the time, the restaurant quit serving at 19:00. We had spent the whole day bird watching and would have missed dinner had the owner not called to inform us. The great thing was that he called.

Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig. Die Zimmer für eine Alpwirtschaft sehr freundlich, hell und komfortabel! Patrick und seine Crew sind die Superhost par exellence. Trotz voller Hütte mit vielen Gästen immer entspannt, aufmerksam und mega herzlich. Dankeschön!

Immer gerne wieder!!!

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal im Gasthaus Moosegg und auch unter dem neuen Betreiber ist es einfach wunderbar. Der Empfang ist herzlich, die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm und die Gastfreundschaft außergewöhnlich – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich, die Lage oberhalb des Bodensees ist traumhaft und lädt zum Entspannen und Genießen ein. Auch die Küche überzeugt mit leckeren, frisch zubereiteten Speisen, die liebevoll serviert werden. Preis und Leistung stimmen absolut, und das persönliche Engagement des Gastgebers macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Pension uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Warmte en gezelligheid troef!! Ga zeker eens langs!

Zonder twijfel de gastheer en het hele Moosegg team! Nog nooit werd ik zó hartelijk ontvangen . Stuk voor stuk warme, positieve mensen . Het huis was netjes en vol charme. Oud maar met karakter. Bij binnenkomst ruik en zie je de keuken. Het ruikt de hele dag heerlijk en het is gezellig druk op het terras en in de mooie Stube. En het uitzicht net om de hoek en tijdens de rit erheen: echt geweldig !!! Dit was voor ons een zeer positieve ervaring . Dikke dikke pluim voor het hele Moosegg team!

Wc op de gang was iets minder maar door de sfeer en de warmte in dit Gasthaus, kon ons dat eigenlijk niet eens echt deren.

Das Gasthaus war ruhig gelegen.

Preis-Leistung hat absolut nicht gepasst. Zimmer und Frühstück überteuert. Dusche ins Zimmer gebaut, Toilette auf dem Flur, eng und ohne Fenster, Lüftung defekt, zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung mit weiteren Gästen auf dem Flur. Essen wurde allgemein in den Bewertungen gelobt, war aber leider nur Durchschnitt.

Urig, nettes Personal.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, bekamen aber 2 Einzelzimmer mit Toilette auf dem Flur. Das Frühstück mit Fabrikbrot und abgepackter Butter und Marmelade war unter Jugendherbergsniveau und dafür zu teuer.
