The location, value and ease of access, checking in and clear instructions regarding heating, parking etc . The cottage was very clean and had everything needed in the kitchen and plenty of lovely towels. The cottage had plenty of local guide books, reading and DVDs to entertain, should you require. The location is off the main road, so very quite.
The heated towel rail in the bathroom is an inadequate form of heating as the only fixed source of heat to the ground floor rear. A plug in electric heater that switched off after a few minutes, is a poor back up.

Can't fault Clover cottage. Or had everything we needed for a couple of nights exploring the peak district. Good location within driving distance of Bakewell and Matlock. Clean and comfortable, we much cheaper than other comparable stays on our dates.
Car parking was a bit tight, but can't be changed due to the cottage location.

Lovely, well-equipped property with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We travelled as a family with our 6-year-old son and felt right at home. The book collection was a delightful touch, and we especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the evenings. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing cottage. highly recommended.
The kitchen is very well equipped, having some kitchen roll available would make it even better.

The cottage had a cosy feel and was warm when we arrived
It wasn't very clean. The bathroom had carpet on the floor and I could smell urine. The air freshener in the kitchen was overwhelming. No grill tray in the grill pan. All the furniture had seen better days. The bedding was lovely though.
