It was cosy big enough for a base for walking and enjoying the villages in the countryside. The village was pleasant and the people were very friendly and helpful.
There was a small smell of damp in the kitchen area which was off putting as we were out every day it wasn’t to bad

The location, value and ease of access, checking in and clear instructions regarding heating, parking etc . The cottage was very clean and had everything needed in the kitchen and plenty of lovely towels. The cottage had plenty of local guide books, reading and DVDs to entertain, should you require. The location is off the main road, so very quite.
The heated towel rail in the bathroom is an inadequate form of heating as the only fixed source of heat to the ground floor rear. A plug in electric heater that switched off after a few minutes, is a poor back up.

The cottage had a cosy feel and was warm when we arrived
It wasn't very clean. The bathroom had carpet on the floor and I could smell urine. The air freshener in the kitchen was overwhelming. No grill tray in the grill pan. All the furniture had seen better days. The bedding was lovely though.
