Convenient location short walk from the bus station. In a quiet residential area about 25 minute walk from the Old Town. Nice space for relaxation outside the dorm rooms. Shared kitchen very useful. Everything was kept clean and tidy. Reception helpful with activity ideas and practical details.
Earplugs essential to sleep with 8 in a room.

Lovely staff and everyone there was really friendly. Such a nice spot, close to beaches, 30min walk to the old town.
Bumped my shins on the bed and thats about it. Can’t fault it for anything really.

About 20 minutes walk to old town, but the area Lazy Monkey is in is much calmer and 'Croatian' than old town. The walk there, through the tiny streets, is delightful though

Good to socialize with other solo travelers
I honestly don’t understand why this hostel has such a high rating. I have traveled and stayed in many hostels, and even though the hostel was social and had a common area where you could socialize well, it lacked a lot of basic things, such as:
- There is no light or lamp near the bed.
- The bathroom and toilet were dirty and old.
- Reception closes at 6 PM, leaving no staff available for questions or assistance in the evening.
- There was no curtain on the window, so all the morning light came in at 5 am in the morning, which led to not getting a good night’s sleep.
- There were no complimentary towels; you have to pay to get one, and even then, the staff couldn't find the key to access them.
-The microwave in the kitchen was dirty and the plates stored as clean plates were sticky and dirty too
