I booked this hostel to relax and unwind, but this stay completely ruined my trip and severely worsened my mental well-being. First, the breakfast incident was traumatizing. I made an honest mistake forgetting my booking didn’t include breakfast. I went to the dining area and took a small amount of food. The female staff member there was extremely impatient and had a terrible attitude. She abruptly stopped me from taking any more food. I tried to communicate and ask her what was wrong, but she completely ignored my questions and refused to explain anything to me. Her hostile silence and cold behavior drew the attention of everyone in the room. I was left standing there in extreme embarrassment while everyone stared at me. What makes it worse is that even though she knew I was going downstairs to the reception to pay for the breakfast immediately, she still refused to let me finish what I had already taken. As the only Asian present in the room, I have the reason to feel heavily targeted, and racially discriminated against. A decent, civilized establishment would have politely reminded me of the policy and let me finish my meal before paying. This unnecessary cruelty and public humiliation severely triggered and deepened my depression. Second, the facility conditions are dreadful. There was barely any hot water in the shower. I reported this to the staff TWICE to get it fixed. After they claimed it was fixed, the hot water lasted for exactly ONE minute before turning freezing cold again. In the end, I was forced to take a cold shower, which caused me to catch a severe cold. This place completely lacks basic customer service, respect, and proper maintenance. If you value your health, peace of mind, and human dignity, DO NOT stay here.

A bit pricey as a hostel in Croatia tbh. Around 60 euros for a night. But the design is quite refreshing. And located in the downtown. A lot privacy in your room. But just feel the shower room is not well ventilated

Room is newly renovated and all is well. Though you may need some time to get used to the color tone of the room, everything will go well in the end. Plus the breakfast included is very nice too and the whole package makes everything very price competitive and value for money.

We stayed in a room with platform bed and darker glass surrounding, which is unusual for a hotel room but pretty interesting to take photos. Everything is compact but then you have everything you need for a hotel right in the center.
