The building is really nice and the room had a stunning view
Aside from one very nice member of staff that we only saw at checkout, the rest of them are quite absent. We arrived and the property was closed! There was a sign on the main entrance ( took a while to find as well) that said that the staff were off because of the two previous holiday days. I don’t criticise the time off, I criticise the lack of notice beforehand when you step into a ghost hotel without reception or anyone to ask anything to, not even an extra set of towels. They spam you with messages and they could have notified the guests beforehand. There was a number to call with a third party ‘helper’ on the other side that barely knew anything. WiFi didn’t work the first night, called again ( for the fourth time) and they said they would call me back, never happened. Turns out, the digit at the end was a zero and not a ‘o’. A member of staff would have known that. When I reported the feedback the day after, the member of staff who received it was really unbothered and didn’t really say anything. It’s a boutique hotel, not a holiday inn ( with all the respect). Definitely room for improvement.
