Relax pur!

Excellent location, in the midddle of Caldero, free parking, very very friendly staff and very clean facilities. We just sprnt ne week in Jagdhof but from the beginning felt at home and enjoyed our stay.

- I GOT A DIFFRENT ROOM THAT I BOOKED While checking in we weren’t informed, that the room that we have to stay in will be at a lower standard and smaller that we chose on Booking. When we asked the receptionist why is that, she looked at me weirdly surprised trying to act like she doesn’t know ( I am certain she knew about it) I booked JUNIOR SUITE with balcony, and a view on the mountains and garden and we got STANDARD DUBLE ROOM with a view on the generally accessible stairs to the restaurant. After I showed her my reservation that I printed at home, she then said sorry, and blamed it on the hotel and that someone else got our room and that it’s not available and any other „ junior suite” rooms are booked. Which isn’t true because I checked on booking.com when I got back to the room and there was another room at that standard available. We went back to the reception. The lady agreed to give us a 10% discount BUT from the original price for junior suite, not the room we are in ( which the price for the room we got is way lower). After some not so nice talking she agreed to lower the price about 26 euro, we agreed because we had a meeting that we had to go to. I am aggrieved, that the apology for the hotel mistake was in this form, and that the hotel WITHOUT MY CONSENT after check in, changed my reservation on booking.com ( I got a notification email), and they lowered the price but still didn’t change the room we were in on the reservation, which was not true.

Sweet Family-Run Hotel in the Heart of Kaltern

We liked the historical aspect and authenticity of the hotel and its location in the heart of the historical center of Kaltern. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful in any situation and will do its very possible to make your stay memorable.

The street noise may become a little loud at times.

Geweldig genoten van de gastvrijheid en de prachtige omgeving

Fantastische locatie voor een paar dagen Zuid Tirol, dicht bij Bolzano, waar je gratis naartoe kon met de bus. Vriendelijk personeel en mooie kamer. Ook fijn dat je kon parkeren in hun garage (voor een kleine meerprijs)

Das Hotel Jagdhof ist sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Kaltern gelegen. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer Andreas Hofer hat 2 getrennte Schlafzimmer ein großes Wohnzimmer sowie ein Badezimmer und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück im Garten war sehr gut!

Sehr gut gelegen und vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen

Die Lage ist mitten im Dorf und somit perfekt gelegen. Das Fahrverbot darf man bis zum Hotel befahren welches eigene Parkplätze hat und im Hotel wird man sehr freundlich erwartet. Leider war das Hauseigene Restaurant am Sonntag geschlossen, es hatte aber in der nahen Umgebung einige Alternativen. Das Morgenessen am Tag danach war sehr gut und das Personal zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.

Es war perfekt und es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Ein Hotelrestaurant sollte aber eigentlich auch an einem Sonntag für die Gäste offen haben.
