Eine saubere, helle Wohnung an zentraler Lage. Ideal für zwei Personen, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Vermieterin. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Top locatie midden in het centrum. Groot en schoon appartement met een leuke woonkamer inclusief balkon! Schone en moderne badkamer.

Het bed was aan vervanging toe. Bij elke beweging werd je wakker van het gekraak. Het bed was erg zacht met een kuil. Raam kon in de nacht niet open wegens geluid van de stad. Ingang staat blank van de rook wegens de kroeg in de kelder die in het weekend geopend is. Gelukkig geen geluidsoverlast. Geen oven aanwezig, om zelf broodjes af te bakken. Daardoor genoodzaakt om elke ochtend naar een bakker of supermarkt te gaan.

Zentrale Lage , trotzdem ruhig. Ausstattung war sehr komfortabel und großzügig.

The apartment is situated right in the centre of Freiburg in a lovely street within close proximity to all the shops and 8-10 walk to the main station. The apartment was reasonably well equipped and offered everything required for our stay. My daughter and I particularly liked the small balcony to sit out in the evenings particularly on the warm evenings.

At no point was it communicated to me by Booking.com or the owner (does not mention this on the property information) that I would have to pay for the property in cash or by bank transfer on arrival. I assumed as with previous bookings through this site for many years that payment would be taken via the payment card I have registered. On arrival, the owner demanded payment in cash or by bank transfer as she no longer used visa! I carry very little euros when I travel abroad and a foreign bank transfer has to be arranged through my bank and as it was a Sunday this was not possible. This was very stressful particularly when the owner and her partner arrived at the apartment demanding the cash, which I did not have and it would take 3 days to withdraw from a cashpoint due to the limit per day. They said I would have to leave if I didn’t pay up. I contacted booking.com and never heard anything back from them despite saying they would respond within 24 hours! The owner finally agreed to the bank transfer, so I had to contact my bank on the Monday morning and this was made the following day. Not the way I wanted my holiday to start! Also, if you are staying on a Friday and Saturday night, there is a rooftop bar that goes on until the early hours and is noisy so take earplugs if you want any sleep. Finally, as others have said, this is very central so there is noise from the street early in the morning.
