Apartment Molea

The apartment was very well organized and had everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a hair dryer, towels, kitchen utensils, and more. The location is excellent, about an 8-minute walk to the bus/train station and just a few minutes from the city center. There are many restaurants nearby, and the neighborhood itself is very lively, with outdoor markets, music, dancing, bars, and lots of activity. If you are young or looking for a more vibrant area, this is definitely a great place to stay. The bed was comfortable, even though it was a bunk-bed style. The apartment was also very well ventilated. I stayed at the end of April and the temperature inside was pleasant. I did not receive the Booking message with the check-in instructions and key collection details, but I called Hannah, who I believe is the owner, and she immediately helped me by sending the code and the key location. She was very polite and helpful.

One important thing to mention about the location, which I had also seen in another review, is that the apartment is above a bar. On the day we arrived, it was the night before the May 1st holiday, and the street was completely packed with young people, lots of drinking, and a lot of noise. Even with the windows and doors closed, the noise inside the apartment was quite loud. I went out and came back around 3 a.m., and there were still many people outside, so I had to sleep with earplugs. Fortunately, I always carry them with me. The next afternoon, someone in the apartment next corner set up a DJ equipment and played lounge and techno-style music for several hours. However, the following nights were much quieter, and after that there was no noise at all. Overall, I had a good stay, but if you are very sensitive to noise and staying close to a holiday or weekend, the street noise could become uncomfortable.

Die Lage war super. Zu Fuß war man in wenigen Minuten am Bahnhof und auch im Altstadtzentrum. Im gleichen Haus befindet sich auch eine Studentenkneipe, wo es am Abend draußen etwas lauter zugehen kann, aber das war definitiv kein Problem für mich. Die Schlüsselübergabe war etwas kompliziert, hat aber letztlich gut geklappt. WLAN war kostenfrei. Saubere sehr hübsche Wohnung mit Hochbett. Nett auch der kleine Balkon, der am Abend von der Sonne bescheint wird.

Ich hab eigentlich nur den Rauchmelder vermisst, der abmontiert war.

Ich hatte einen Kongress in der Uni und der Uni liegt zwei Minute zu Fuss von der Unterkunft.

The location is perfect - you can easily get to the train station and city center on foot. The apartment was clean and comfortable. As seen in the photos, you have to carefully climb up a ladder to get to the bed, but it wasn't an issue for us. We loved the blackout roll-down shutters. If you are a light sleeper or there on the weekend, keep in mind that there is a bar beneath the apartment. It didn't bother us because the sound was subdued by the floor. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Freiburg, which is a really lovely city.

Two different check-in instructions were provided. The one that was correct was the lock box.
