I don't think I will stay there again.

The quality of breakfast is good.

Our room was very cold, particularly, the first night we stayed. It took nearly three hours to get the room temperature up to 16.7 °C . The situation improved a bit early evening for the rest of our staying, but we still felt cold after 10pm (radiator was not warm any more).

Owner Janet friendly, welcoming. Breakfast very nice full English with cereal, yogurt, toast. Decaffeinated coffee. Large ground floor room overlooking car park.

Clean and quiet - just what I needed!

Immaculate sheets, peace and quiet but on a main travel route. I used the room as a base while visiting relatives. Just what I needed. Felt safe as a solo female traveller. Convenient parking right outside the front door. I will be back!!

Room too cold, dated furniture and decor but well equipped

It was a good price

Room was very cold, heating was off. Waited outside the guest house in the dark wet cold night to finally after 10 minutes to get someone to let us in! Rooms were clean with good facilities but far too little milk sachets. No options for breakfast you got what was cooked . Fried eggs only. If you didn’t like certain breakfast items hard luck, you got them. TV difficult to work out. Would I stay there again… no

The rooms are very well equipped with microwave, full size fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. You can book room only or include breakfast.

We needed to leave the guest house at 9am so was unable to take breakfast as this was served at 9am.

Exactly what we needed and would stay again.

The room was a good size and comfortable. Tea and coffee and a mircowave and fridge in the room. Breakfast was tasty, and allowed us to park a little later after checkout. Overall very friendly and good value. We would stay again.

No milk for the tea and coffee and the fridge made it a bit noisy. Breakfast was tasty, but little choice of hot food.

Beverley Road's best kept secret

We were going to a pub just a bit further up the road, so it was an ideal location for us, with free parking. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean with everything that you could possibly need, including a fridge and microwave, which is unusual for this price bracket. The beds were comfy, with a choice of pillows. The landlady is absolutely lovely, and her breakfast was cracking (especially the sausage). It is a proper, old-school B&B. We loved it and will definitely stay there again.

Our room was very nice and comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need on vacation. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. The owner Janet was very friendly and helpful and gave us a number of good tips for places to visit in Hull even when the weather was bad.

Large comfy room with decent size shower room. Bonus fridge, microwave, kettle too! Breakfast was great, tailor made to match our wants.

A little more information on local transport and local shops / restaurants would have been helpful, but I guess that's what the Internet is for!

Friendly accomodating staff, tasty breakfast, good location.

The room had everything we needed and the addition of a fridge /microwave and kettle in the room made it easy to do packups over the weekend for trips out and about. Janet was really friendly and accommodating. Shower was lovely and hot, room clean and set out well.

Not a problem for us at all but it would help on the booking site to say whether rooms are at front or rear of property (unless I just missed this bit!) Our twin was at the front which wasn't too bad unless sirens came past and as we were staying at a quiet time. It might not be great for a light sleeper.

Where it was close to our son's; one large room; one ok ; time of checking in

Coldness of rooms. The lady in charge said they would put the heating on early evening as we arrived about 1.30pm and we got in about 11pm expecting our rooms, and our daughter's room was even colder on arrival, to be comfortable but they weren't. We could tell the radiators hadn't been on. Cold on getting up too. It is very cold at present 25th March. One side lamp and switch behind the single bed, had twins, very behind. Had to stretch till it hurt to reach the switch

Convient for a visit to University of Hull

Location is convenient for a work visit to the University of Hull. It was handy to have a microwave and fridge in the room, along with plenty of coffee and tea making facilities.

The room was adequate but not the most comfortable. Heating was on but the windows had quite bad draughts so it was a bit cold and noisy.
