This place is great. What looks like it used to be a convent in its own gardens, now turned into student style accommodation. Wood panelling everywhere and polished wooden floors in the rooms. The room was spacious with high ceilings and en suite with a huge shower cubicle and rain head shower with instant high pressure hot water. Huge clean towels. Everywhere spotlessly clean. On the main Beverley Rd into the city, it has frequent buses and minutes walk from an amazing pub (The Haworth - check it out, has live music but much more than that), supermarkets and every kind of shop nearby. Back in the room, a decent size TV facing the bed and good wifi. The communal kitchen has everything you need for full self-catering including washing machines and freezer. Also spotless. Large communal areas if you happen to be in a party. And not busy as I only saw one other person use the kitchen. Quiet. If there are students in residence they're the clean and quiet ones.
Great value. I will 100% stay here again.
Not a fan of those press-button key entries but this one is quite easy to use if you'vegot your glasses on. If anything the rain head shower was a little too hot in Rm 12! Some basic toiletries would be appreciated, a second toilet roll and a loo brush!

It was good scenery
Bed had springs digging into my body and big build up of limescale/toothpaste around the tap of room 2

I’ve stayed here many times. The rooms are always spotlessly clean.
The instructions to enter the building are always sent ahead of time, are clear and concise and are always straightforward .
So, I requested a room as close to the front door as possible (upon booking, a week before)
When I arrived at the property on Friday evening, I found my room to be on the second floor at the end of a corridor, which wasn’t ideal.
I learned later that evening from a member of staff that I was the ONLY guest in the whole hotel, so why on earth I wasn’t put closer to the main entrance is a bit of a mystery!

Warm, bright and comfortable. The Kitchen is excellent.
The shower in my room did not work properly, and I was embarrased to have to use the bathroom, because the landing had no blind, and I was being watched by the flats when I went to the shared bathroom in a towel.

Clean & full of character
Although in a corridor of 2 rooms was awoken at midnight & 3am by people entering & leaving the next door room. Otherwise very quiet.

Great location, loved walking in the huge grounds - very peaceful and relaxing. An unusual building for a hotel (was previously a convent). We enjoyed the individuality of the rooms (sleeping in a former nun’s cell). The bed was comfortable and the en-suite bathroom good. The communal kitchen was a real plus too, very well equipped and spotlessly clean.
No toiletries or kettle provided in the room. Also would have liked some information about the interesting history of the place.

I loved the peace and quiet. Endsleigh Park Hotel is a lovely old building set in its own beautiful grounds. A little slice of paradise in a big, bustling town.
The only thing I didn't like was the weather, even then the snow made it more picturesque.

Very easy to follow the instructions to access the property and rooms. Very clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Great free parking too.
There was nothing I didn’t like. I would have liked a glass in the room so I could have got a drink of water. I should have taken a bottle of my own.

Friendly staff, night porter was on hand to assist with all queries. Spotless kitchen.
Indesit washer/Dryer was not working.

The cleanliness, the location and the rooms
Nothing I didn’t like
4.0 / 10.0
Not too much if I'm honest.
It's about as basic as basic can get - felt more like a backpackers hostel than a hotel. A tiny room. A bed. A TV. A tiny shower room with toilet and sink. Towels. That's your lot. No kettle provided let alone coffee/tea. Not even any soap or shower gel - you are expected to bring your own. Was also quite tricky to find the location in the dark - drove past the entrance 3 times before spotting it. Finding which part of a sprawling number of buildings was the relevant part - in the dark - in the rain - was also challenging.

Really nice stay, perfect for what I needed for one night, the room was nice, bathroom and shower were great, slept well and a really good carpark all in private grounds, i had a show in Cottingham not to far away, im back up here in December so will book in again

Staff (via email, we didn’t see any on the day) were friendly, responsive and accommodating. They reserved the room we especially wanted and we were thrilled.
It was exceptional value for money with clean rooms, communal kitchen and even apple trees on the grounds.
I found the bed very uncomfortable, too soft and springy, and I’ve seen repeated requests in the comments to restock the forks in the kitchen which they still haven’t done so there are about 2-3 forks for all the guests.

I like the location of the hotel amd the garden. The toilet was also good. East access to the main road and checking in was easy.
The room was smaller than expected and the bed was very uncomfortable and it was noisy in the passage way during the night so did not sleep well.

This is a really neat building with some history to it (an old convent). Great wood floors and nice wood paneling in the hallways. The shared kitchen is fantastic with everything you could need to cook any meal. My room was very nice with a Persian rug and large windows that let the sun in. I stayed for a week and it was a very nice stay.
The bed was quite comfortable for a week, but toward the end of the week I was starting get some aches and pains. As a solo traveler, I would like to see an extra security latch on the door just for peace of mind.

Desolate, eerie place. Like the set of a horror film, no amenities, loud noises, thin walls, uncomfortable pillows, overly hot heating. Decent shower though which was literally the only plus point

Location, grounds and history. It’s also secure, quiet and clean
8.0 / 10.0
The property had nice grounds and instructions for check in and check out were simple and quick.
The car park had pot holes leading to it and due to the rain had muddy puddles.
8.0 / 10.0
comfy bed, nice big bathroom, extremely clean, well equipped kitchen, lovely surrounds and very peaceful
Rooms could perhaps do with a bit of soundproofing
6.0 / 10.0
The bathroom was a standout—clean, spacious, and modern, while the rest of the property maintained its charming period style. Everything was spotless, and the peaceful surroundings with a large yard gave it a relaxing countryside feel. Perfect for a quiet stay.
One minor drawback was that the ceiling light in my room wasn’t working, and the shower drain seemed a bit neglected as it was clogged. These were small issues that could be easily fixed to improve the overall experience.
