JESMOND House B&B room 4

Clare, the host was extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was just gorgeous and funky, and given an upgrade on arrival, this set the tone. The building itself, is set in a stunning part of Hull called The Avenues. In the room, the toiletries which were provided, were of good quality. The breakfast was superb given the price, we couldn't ask for more , including fresh eggs from the Clare's hens.There were snacks and drinks available 24 hours, who includes that these days? Given we were walking in The Wolds, this is a perfect location as it offers 20 min drive, notwithstanding Beverley, and the city feel within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place, even though not vegans, we were catered for. Nothing was too much trouble.

Clare and Gene are friendly thoughtful hosts. Their house is full of character with large comfortable rooms and good showers. It’s in a quiet residential area of Hull but close to good restaurants in Princes Avenue. Plenty of choice for breakfast and access all day to drinks and snacks. A great base to explore Hull and East Yorkshire.

I found nothing to dislike.

We liked everything, especially the host couple: Clare and Gene, and their 3 beautiful babies: Bruno, Tia and Lina.

Location was ideal for me. It was quiet - no traffic noise. Breakfast was ample and prepared with care.
