I am planning another vacation in a few years' time and will book at Jesmond House.

Jesmond House exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The very best part of the experience, staying for 19 days, was the incomparable hospitality. Claire and Gene are so welcoming, so accomodating that staying with them is a real pleasure. They manage to make you feel like you are valued, without hovering. Nothing is too much for them. They go out of their way to be of service while being warm and authentic at all times. I was disappointed to have to leave. If you want to feel warmly welcomed, pandered to without being smothered, all in peaceful, attractive surroundings you cannot go wrong by booking at Jesmond House.

Enjoyable stay in a beautiful house

Very happy with Jesmond House. A beautiful home, excellent facilities, ample vegetarian breakfast. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. I had a large sized room that provided everything I needed. The house is in a beautiful residential area. Overall, i would recommend.

Welcoming hosts in a charming old house.

A very comfortable room in a beautiful old house. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Tasty cooked breakfasts in the breakfast room and being able to make tea or coffee at any time. A quiet neighbourhood but close to restaurants and easy to get to the city centre and other attractions.

The electric room heater worked well but the bathroom was a bit cold at this time of year. However the shower was very good with plenty of hot water.

Excellent

The location was very good because I was seeing family who live nearby and we went out a lot to eat at some amazing local restaurants. I didn’t know it was a vegan b&b but have to say that the breakfast was delicious. My room was very comfortable and it felt like ‘home from home’ as the hosts are so pleasant and welcoming. I couldn’t understand how the telly worked because it’s a modern one but was helped with it each time I got confused. A really lovely stay in a lovely house. I will definitely be booking again.

We loved staying at Jesmond House and quickly felt like we were staying with friends.

Jesmond House is a beautiful house, with beautiful hosts, beautiful garden, beautiful bedroom. It is animal friendly and affordable, in a great location, with a delicious breakfast. We don't want to stay anywhere else when in the area, and are already looking forward to our next visit :)

This is a difficult question... We are having trouble thinking of anything! I suppose one day maybe they will be able to have a vegetarian breakfast with fresh eggs?

Great location, fabulous facilities, highly recommend.

Excellent base for business and visitors. Claire and her family made me feel so welcome! Truly a home from home. I requested a 'quiet room' and Claire checked with me beforehand , so that everything was perfect! Great location. The rooms were divine.I even had a sneak peak and the other double room. Breakfast was fabulous too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay in a lovely home

Had an absolutely wonderful stay there. The owners were very friendly and had a lot of pets. The house was beautiful and our room was very cozy and comfy, there was even a heater in case you needed it. Breakfast was a self-service continental breakfast with a few items in the fridge, and there was coffee, tea and fruit available at all times. Our room was nicely decorated and had an en-suite with a great shower. There was a decorative fireplace, cozy rugs, heater, desk and lots of storage space. In the bathroom there were towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There were coffee and tea making facilities in the room. The area was a historic, leafy area with nice houses and a park within 10 minutes' walk. It was very quiet and we felt safe. There were buses directly to the city centre, as well as a few local restaurants and bars within walking distance. The owners have 2 dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens and parrots, but the animals don't go upstairs to the rooms. They were all lovely animals though :). The house smelled amazing with all the scented candles, very relaxing and a lovely touch. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

The en-suite bathroom had a sliding barn door that didn't provide a lot of privacy, but it wasn't a big issue for us.

good value for money

I enjoyed my stay, customer service and was exceptional. I felt that I am at home. Claire and Gene were very helpful. They gave me breakfast and fruit salad with oat yoghurt to take with me for work . Very comfortable place and nice family .

The room was a bit cold maybe due to weather as it was snowing , but Claire give me extra heater.

Great!

I really enjoyed my stay in JESMOND Vegan BnB. It’s located quite near to bars and restaurants but the actual street is quiet and residential. My room was spotless and extremely comfortable with lots of homely touches. Clare was a welcoming and friendly host. She does have two dogs which didn’t bother me but might not be for everyone.

Breakfast was nice but a slightly wider variety of fruit and cereal would have been nice.
