Owner was very friendly I had booked a room with shared bathroom but he was ever so kind as to put me and my family on a room with en suite at no extra cost which was fantastic, location I found was perfect literally like a 5 minute drive to a large shopping mall and Tesco and there was other places close by like homebargins and other stores also lived how the parking was free and secured with metal electric gates overall very satisfied stay for me and my family
Didn’t effect the stay only thing that I would say needed sorting with the room I was in would be the showers drainage system as it leaks from the side and the toilet needs securing properly but this doesn’t effect there use at all

The owners are very friendly and helpful. They even gave a free upgrade when something wasn't working. Cozy and not too far from town.
Nothing in particular. Solid for the price.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant. The accommodation was modest but very neat, creating a simple and comfortable environment. The room was warm and inviting, and the bed offered a good level of comfort throughout my stay. Overall, it was a cosy and enjoyable experience, well-suited for anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to relax.
The entrance..
The entrance of the hotel would need some renovation to give it a face lift..

Didn't eat there.
A long heavy vertical mirror fell off the bedroom wall,
the frame hung by a small thin screw, inappropriate for the weight. Floorboards squeaking and giving way under carpet. An electric socket for bedside light was hanging loosely, dangerously unattached to wall.

Such friendly welcoming and felt comfortable and a home from home feeling, great location and very clean rooms and lovely and quiet. John is such a character with a warm, welcoming smile.

It was close to where I was going. the hull fair about five minute walk. Easy to get to. I had a very good night's sleep. it had a TV and coffee and tea & a kettle.
One of the doors made a massive noise when it closed slowly and when people went to the toilet you could hear the floorboards creek..

Host was very friendly and helpful, it was a bonus having a gated car park, and close to city centre.
Plenty of refreshments in the room and the bed was super comfy!
The room needed the odd touch ups cosmetically for eg a plug socket was hanging off the wall. - this did not affect my stay.

Staff were friendly and check in was easy.
I was there for a work course at the hospital so location was perfect walking distance.
Car park felt secure and was spacious and included in price.
The back area of the property and yard are well kept.
Room was basic and clean.
Surrounds are outdated but acceptable.
While I like pets, the smell of cats/cat litter throughout the property was overwhelming for me.

The room itself was nice and bright with a little TV with tea and coffee. lovely welcome from the women at the front desk nothing was too much to ask. Bed was comfy with clean white sheets had a good night sleep and the place were it was was nice and quiet at night with a few local shops. Good for if your staying for a night.
The bathroom looked tired there was holes in the ceiling from the lights had been placed before and wires showing the shower inside it there was a panel coming off. The sink came away from the wall. The room was nice but felt a bit unsafe with the door as it didn't close properly and the lock was very loose and very thin walls. The room didn't look finished with missing parts and stains on the walls. There was a smell in the room like I couldn't really say if it was smoke or damp smell. The room we had were different from the pictures and there was only a shower with in the pictures shows a bath which didn't bother us to much. The room was cold and couldn't get warm.

The proximity to the football stadium was great, we traveled for the football. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything you needed was available. Tea & coffee making facilities were more than adequate and complementary biscuits were a nice touch. Fresh towels and soaps in the spacious bathroom. The whole place was very clean. Safe and secure parking to the rear of the building that we utilised overnight.
Unfortunately, there was a plug socket that was damaged in the bedroom.

Incredibly kind owner. I had travelled with my Brother and my ex wife to see a show in Cottingham. I was using my camper van so decided to book the room for my ex.
When the owner discovered the circumstances he insisted on upgrading the room and insisted I park my campervan in his secure car park.
The premises are older but it's very clean. There is tea and coffee making kit and the bed very comfortable.
Lovely hosts, ideal facilities, very clean and safe, all for a cracking price.
Seriously, I can't see why you would fault this place. If we're ever in this neck of the woods again, this is where I'm going to try and book

The landlord’s manner when I arrived. The room was clean but the facilities, decor and facilities had long since seen better days.

The location and the hosts were exceptional, the room was clean
Shared bathroom that didn’t have a shower or a plug for the bathtub, and the water didn’t drain properly either. Couldn’t shower while there. We didn’t sleep well because of of the creaky floors above being noisy all night, people walking around, and going up and down the stairs.

The hostel exceeded expectations, the staff was on site and if you need anything, just ask. Free parking space. It was a hot day when we returned, they had a fan on without even asking. It was nice.

was really pleased at how nice a room I got for the price I paid, the bed was very comfortable with good quality pillows and mattress, the curtains kept the light out nicely at night and there wasn't much noise from the main road, the tea and coffee making facilities were plentiful and I think I got the biggest mug I have ever seen, the bathroom was also really nice with a spacious shower area and a good choice of different soaps
The only thing I wasn't keen on was the rough duvet cover which would have been a bit abrasive on my skin had I actually needed the duvet but fortunately the weather was far to hot for duvets

The staff/owner was very friendly and provided a lot of good information about good bars for us mature types and places to visit. The place itself is roughly 15 minutes' walk to Hull Centre. The beds are comfortable, and the room was a good size with tea/coffee facilities provided. I wish I had enquired about the 3 prints visible from reception, they was lovely. Also there was parking at the back albeit we arrived by train and is not far from the hotel. A bus will take you there in less than 10 minutes.
The hotel had a smell of smoke, which if you are not a smoker is not pleasant at all. The rooms were relatively clean but dusty cobwebs were visible and the room really needs modernising, plus there was only 1 bedside lamp had a bulb. The bathroom was shared which we knew about but the bath came away from the wall when standing in it and the shower was either cold or warm, no hot water. The shower head came off the wall too. Once again this was another area that could do with modernising. These areas don't need a huge amount of money spending to make them look good, but money does need spending on the place.
