Was convenient for the night we said for rugby.

It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the MKM stadium

Only one member of staff behind the bar who had to make a phone call for someone to message me through the booking.com app. Is a 10 minute bus journey into hull town centre Didn’t supply travel cots for babies/ toddlers

Easy access to the building..

Very noisy by a level crossing that goes off all night. Walls were stained Carpet was stained and wet Room smelt of dog Could hear people in the other rooms and living area all night long.

Horrible experience

The whole place was chaos, nothing to like apart from having parking on the street.

The place was smelly , dirty and messy. From the entrance of the door to the room cluttered and smells cigarettes, drug and foul odour. I stayed in room 7, The room tv nt working , no button on the remote control. Carpet was smelly and look like just been thrown on the floor like a dog bedding, bed linen sheet was smelly and unwashed. The shared toilet had stool mark , kitchen utensil everywhere, washing machine in the middle of the living room on the ground floor. Honestly it was like torture living there, I had no choice as it was a last minute thing and in the evening. Would not recommend anybody to go there. If I could go somewhere else on that night I would but it was late. A really bad experience 😪.

No frills but delivered with goodwill.

Stayed there before when its name was different. Friendly lady came and gave room entry code on arrival. Safe street parking opposite. Convivial residents.

LED bulb had gone (still had bathroom light). Wi-fi had been cut off.

Great for a budget

Great location in terms to centre (uber £6-£12) Great value for money (for budget) Great communication with owner Despite first impressions of outside the inside was clean and tidy and secure Tea/coffee available in communal area Toothbrush and soap provided was a nice touch (maybe toothpaste too next time and body wash in bathroom)

I highly recommend it, especially for those who want a safe and friendly space to stay on a budget!

The hotel is small and a bit old, however very clean. The bedroom was comfortable (I slept like a log). The bathrooms were impeccable. The owner made the biggest difference. I called several times before my stay, and he was always so helpful. He even drove me into town which was very kind and helpful. If you are on a budget but want great vibes, the ST Georges is perfect. I highly recommend it!

It's a bit out of the city centre and was quite far from Craven Park.

I would never come back

I checked out early from my stay due to unacceptable hygiene conditions. The room had a persistent and unpleasant smell of body odour and urine, which did not go away even after ventilating. There was also a visible bloodstain on the duvet, which I reported multiple times. Unfortunately, the staff only replaced the duvet cover, not the stained duvet itself. I felt uncomfortable and disappointed by the lack of proper cleanliness and response. Despite paying for four nights, I left after two because the conditions made the stay intolerable. I’ve contacted Booking.com regarding a refund for the unused night. I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

Very comfortable and lovely staff

Room was clean and smelt good, was given travel shampoo, toothbrush and soap with tv and plenty of sockets

Busy street and train line right next to hotel but the room is sound proof enough that it’s not disturbing once your asleep
