Friendly staff, clean room, nicely situated and better priced than most other surrounding hotels

The location is great, right next to a nice big park, and also just a 15 minute walk into the centre of town, with many smaller shops, grocery stores and restaurants within that distance, most less than a 5 Min walk away. Although only just outside the centre of town, the road and area have a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is ample and easy and felt safe. The room is one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, however it was clean, comfortable and had everything a person needs, including tea and coffee facilities, and a full size bath and shower.

Unfortunately I was woken up by the cleaning staff, with what seemed to be a conversation from two different ends of the corridor. I'm sure this is a rare occurrence, but if a guest has been out all night or works on a night shift then needs to sleep during the day, this would be most disruptive. Although I am aware rooms need to be turned over early in the day, the general cleaning wasn't particularly bothersome. Would be nice to have a bedside lamp, but not a big problem.

Dorchester Hotel- Hotel room

Room was a good size as was the bathroom, tv in room good picture quality and towels and linen was provided free parking was good even though is a little tight the car park.

There was only 1 pillow in the bed each none in wardrobe for you to add, went to reception about 7 times no one there wrote on the message thing on booking app and then he did xome eventually and told us we shoukd of gone to reception where we had and said we should have rang bell, neither of us saw this bell so not sure. Bed not the comfiest but did the job for 1 night we stayed, marks on the wall just made it look a little grubby and damage in the rooms, they take £150 deposit for damages then when we reported ones there so we didn't get the blame the guy talked to us like we were idiots for reporting it, sorry not going to pay for others.

Clean room had everything needed for an overnight stay staff were friendly and helpful

Parking was tight and a bit limited but that's mainly due to the BMW clowns souble-spacing and parking straight in an angled bay. Who would've guessed the biggest tools in the car park weren't in the work vans

There was no chairs in the room, water from shower ran slow wasn’t powerful, there was no plug to put the lamp on or port to plug lamp in.

Cheap room for the night with secure parking.

The room was clean and functional. Parking was secure.

There was no milk in the room and only one tea bag. There was a hotel policy which required me to leave my bank card details with the receptionist, which I wasn't particularly comfortable with.

Friendly staff, comfy room, awesome price, great location for me.

Comfy, cosy little room and really friendly staff! It felt private and I was undisturbed by noise or other guests. Felt safe as a single woman traveling alone for the one night.

No food or breakfast facilities, but it is clear about that when booking so its no big deal. I got snacks for my room anyway!

Wow! Our hotel room was massive - 2 king-size beds in the bedrooms, fully-stocked kitchen and massive TV with a large sofa. Clean, comfortable and a decent location too.

We were booked into the Dorchester but actually were transferred to The Park Hotel. The room given was very good. Beds comfortable and clean. The hotel generally quiet. The staff member on check in was brilliant.

I had forgotten that the hotel had been changed to the Park Hotel after having been told by telephone that “renovations were being carried out” at the Dorchester. We arrived at the Dorchester to be greeted at the locked door by two burly security men and a female staff member. It was then obvious that the hotel was housing immigrants which were quite obviously financed by the government. So the story of ‘renovation’ was a lie. I’d rather have been told the truth.

locating was great just a short 15 minute walk or so to Princes ave so good place to stay when on a night out.

the shower was fairly weak water pressure wise and the shower head itself was very small so there wasn’t much of a spread other than that no issues.

Everything was to an acceptable standard. The young lady who booked us in was lovely and very helpful.

The flooring at the entrance to the bathroom was damaged and I caught my toe on the corner edge a couple of times.
