Our family of 6 adults and 2 children spend a week at the Villa. The location is ok, if you have a rental car. There is a small SPAR and a restaurant nearby but for larger grocery purchases you should go to Puerto Rico which is not far. Water park and other attractions near Maspalomas are also easy to reach by car. Playa de Tauro was nice, not so crowded as the other beaches with services. However, not suitable for small children.

The biggest disappointment in the villa was the broken dishwasher which was repaired only the day before we left. We had to do the dishes for 8 people by hand for a week. The caretaker of the villa left the island for Easter (4 days) as soon as we arrived and there was no backup person for her. There was no extra pillows or blankets available, and we had to buy a blanket ourselves for our daughter. This has never happed in any accommodation! The drains of both showers were blocked when we arrived, so we had to buy drain cleaner to fix the problem. The kitchen has a miscellaneous collection of dishes from Villeroy & Boch to plastic cups and broken mugs. Would have been nice to have some food wrap or storage boxes for leftover food available, or baking paper, or charcoal and lighter fluid for the barbecue grill - be prepared to buy these yourselves. We had 2 cars but there is only one key to the driving gate, which was inconvenient when we split up and made trips to different destinations.
