Apartamentos Cordial Mogán Valle

The room was nice and spacious, the balcony was spacious and well equipped with sunloungers and table and chairs. The air conditioning worked well and was needed.

The view from the balcony was very restricted by railings. The oise from the main pool, was excessive when there was entertainment taking place, and our room was on the 9th floor. There were chimneys adjacent to the sunbathing area near the quiet pool which pumped out fumes and smoke from an incinerator, which was extremely unpleasant. Our apartment was opposite the Mogan Plaza where there are bars and restaurants which were playing loud music until late evening which meant it was noisy on the balcony

The staff were great and the location

It’s overpriced for what you get. Better for families than couples as it’s very noisy. The room was a bit tired and dated and no air con in August was an absolute killer! Thank goodness it was only two nights, we had to sleep on the balcony the room was so warm.

Splash park is excellent for young kids. There's also a lovely baby pool beside the big family pool. There are plenty of facilities nearby - supermarket directly across the road, plenty of restaurants and a lovely stroll down to the marina.

We were on the 9th floor - there's no direct lift and so you had to take at least 4 lifts depending on where you get out at each lift. It was a maze to get up and down - 153 steps in total. We have 2 young kids using a buggy so realistically it was not suitable. I did request that we were not too high up beforehand and they did email me to advise that they would do their best to accommodate us but upon arrival we were told that they actually don't have any 2 bed apartments lower down. All their 2 beds are on the higher levels. Sometimes the lifts didn't work so we then had to carry buggy a couple of flights. Unfortunately because of this I would be reluctant to stay again until the kids are older and can manage steps easily! A real pain when you forget something once you get down to the ground floor!!! Another negative aspect that we found was, although the splash park was super for the little ones, the family pool is very deep all over - 1.3 metres and therefore not suitable for children who are not very confident swimmers. The other 2 pools in the complex are also deep so it would be nice if there was one pool with a shallow end. Apart from that, the location is good with great facilities nearby and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
