Location was excellent. View was great. Large apartment with a clothes washer and dryer is excellent.

Wish owner was more communicative. We arranged to meet at unit at set time and after 10 min waiting I called. She said she sent me a message to go in apartment and she would meet us later. Never got a message about not being there. Only pictures of the door. I was unsure why owner would come by later then but okay. She came by later and explained apartment and were to go eat. Okay great. Then asked for payment. I guess they don’t use the charge program with booking. This was new for me. She said “somewhere in the email it says we take cash”. It took me 2 days of reviewing that emailing and calling Booking to verify that yes at the bottom of the booking in 1 small sentence it says owner takes cash. That’s it. Not ever any email at booking to say “hey as a reminder you pay us at check in”. We also arrived on one of the busiest days and there was zero parking. A little notice would have been great as a heads up. Owner texted me of free parking on X street. It took me searching my maps to find it without much direction from her. I was told it was a 10 min walk. It was 20. I have no problem with a 20 min walk but with luggage and it would have been good to know. The morning of check out we were sent a text to clean dishes and take our trash. Again. It would be good to have all this communicated in advance and not last minute. WiFi is terrible and we kept getting kicked off. We had to use our eSIM hot spot.

The good location unfortunately doesn’t make up for the other shortcomings.

Location

I usually only write positive reviews, but in this case I think it’s important that others know what to expect. Arrival and departure have to be coordinated in advance, as payment is only accepted in cash. This makes things less flexible than usual. After a long journey, we were tired but had to listen to an introduction, e.g. like how to use the toilet. We’ve never experienced anything like that before – normally you just get the key and settle in. Maybe you can consider printing and handing instructions instead? Two of the beds were fine, but the other two were uncomfortable folding beds. Overall, the price-performance ratio just isn’t right. We wouldn’t book again.

1) Be prepared to communicate with google translate - Bruno understood ONLY French and could not even give me the basics like the outstanding amount or time of checkout in English. 2) Cash ONLY (no credit card-no booking.com payment 3) Key deposit of Euro 50 - also in cash ONLY 4) No parking - the parking area across the flat is expensive and very busy - be prepared to drive around for 30 mins or so and walk some way to the flat

Great View of the Cliffs, Beach front and attentive host

It definitely has a beautiful view of the famous arch and it's 40 yards from the beach. The host was very charming, met us with the key and gave us lots of good information about the neighborhood and even walked us to acouple of spots around town.

Nothing major, but since it's not a cheap place (it was the second most expensive room of our two week trip to France) here are some things to consider. It's been renovated, but unevenly so. The kitchen's great, but the bath room less modern. It's also a third floor (to Americans) walk up. Likely Etretat is just a very expensive town because of it's natural beauty, but the town is not that big and I probably would have been just as happy with a cheaper place a bit off the beach.

Location was exceptional! Lisa was very nice and told us where to eat and not and gave us other information that was helpful for our stay.

Bad start, great ending.

Location was superb. 8 windows with panoramic view of the beach and town. Only flaw was the start. Agreed on 3 pm arrival, meeting the host outside the building. With 6 suitcases sitting on the sidewalk while my son found parking, there was no sign of host. Called her and was told she couldn't be there until 5 pm. Retrieved car from parking lot and put bags back in car and parked again so we could walk around the town. Lisa arrived promptly at 5 and was very accomodating and gracious. Almost made us forgive the bungled arrival.

Superb

Most welcoming host and the view from the windows are adorable! The sunset through the cliff is best viewed from the apartment windows. The host is courteous and very friendly and speaks good English! I would totally recommend for non French speaking tourists as well!

사진 그대로 숙소에서 보이는 뷰가 최고 였어요. 내부 시설도 부족함 없어 좋았습니다.

저희는 잠만 자고 음식도 간편식만 해먹어 깨끗이 정돈하고 쓰레기도 가져와 청소비내지 않았지만 숙박비도 내는 데 객실 청소비를 별도로 받는것이 좀 아쉬웠습니다. 숙박요금도 현금으로 가능한데 잔돈도 없으셔서 잔돈은 팁으로 드려야했네요.
