Good location near the old city quarter of Mainz

The room was large and comfortable for 2 people. The beds are comfortable. The location is good. There is a small supermarket next door and a fine Italian restaurant downstairs. Across the street is a bakery that also serves coffee and has an attached seating room. It's about a 15 walk to the old city of Mainz. Parking in Mainz is a pain.

They've had to cut out breakfast. That's too bad.

Old style of hotelrooms. Everything simple standard. Old not refurbished materials. Cleaned plus/minus. No breakfast. Internet timely working only.

Location was quite convenient, close to train station Römisches Theater and connected to the Hauptbahnhof with a direct bus line (62). Simple lodgings for a reasonable price.

The mattress was clearly very old. It had a large indentation and should be changed!

Worth it!

I liked that it was a pretty spacious room for me, and the bathroom was great! Lady at the reception only spoke German and I don't, but we tried our best to communicate :)

Doesn't have an elevator so it's kind of complicated staying at the 3rd floor and carrying my luggage

Convenient and affordable for a quick stay close to Stadtpark

What I liked the most was the proximity to the venue of the event I was attending in Stadtpark. It is also next door to a small grocery store and in front of a bus stop and not too far from Altstadt if you are a walker like me. For the purpose of my trip, it offered the basic services I need for a reasonable price. The staff were very helpful and did their wholehearted best to give me information in English which it was great and solved my questions.

The bed was quite soft for my back issues, but this is probably a personal preference.
