A very disappointing stay due to the condition of the room, lack of maintenance, and underwhelming service.

Staff were polite.

Unfortunately, our room was in very poor condition. It was visibly mouldy, with dampness throughout and mould clearly present on the walls. The entire room felt wet and musty, and the toilet had a strong sewer smell. The hotel overall felt run down, and the grounds did not appear well maintained. Service throughout the property was also disappointing, with staff generally not very attentive. When we raised concerns and asked about cancelling the remainder of our stay (as Booking.com indicated this could be requested through the property), we were told management would deny the request. While we were eventually allowed to shorten our stay, the situation was not handled in a way that reflected the standards expected of a hotel of this calibre. We were also required to queue for breakfast, which was disappointing given the hotel’s size and the fact that it is not peak season.

Lovely resort a great staff!

Wonderful expansive gardens with great pool and access to the beach and the lovely sound of breaking surf. The Ko Japanese restaurant was very sophisticated and very engaging staff served great food. Lovely big room, with great garden view - may not be the most modern, but had a lot of charm!

The staff at the sunset bar tried too hard and were in your face - the food wasn’t great either. However, the pool bar & restaurant were much nicer. Lights in the room were a bit challenging - lack of labelling and trying to find the last light to turn off proved a bit annoying! (The corridor light!)🥺

An amazing resort with amazing staff, service, food and Property.

A wonderful Propery and the staff is second to none. A serious 5 star hotel that was fantastic to stay at.

The only annoying thing I can say is there is a huge ant problem by the lounge chairs by the beach. I read other reviewers say the same. They are huge ants that pack a mean bite. Which they got them mitigated.

The most amazing place you’ll ever stay!

Best place I’ve ever stayed in my life. Well worth the spend! The most amazing, hospitable staff, such lovely, genuine people. Breakfast was fantastic! Views were stunning and the pools were just amazing. We tried all restaurants at this resort and they just topped each other, they were all amazing and such great quality food. The room was gorgeous, super spacious and family friendly, and the whole resort was overall one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. 1000% will be coming back.

Lobby area was all open so it can be quite hot but staff did great effort to cool the place down.

Beautiful place in Jimbaran

Great hotel with many exciting facilities, great swimming pools, nice beach especially for an awesome sunset 🌆. Nice and clean rooms.

The room we got was not quite what we had booked, turnout it was one room with mezzanine floor and an unfriendly sofa bed. I had to pay for an additional room, made it quite costly like getting 2 rooms for the price of 3.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable with a lovely view of the ocean. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide range of fresh options including fruit, pastries, and hot dishes cooked to order. The beach was just a short walk from the hotel and was well maintained with clear water and plenty of space to relax. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with great service and ideal location for a coastal getaway.

The pillows were comfortable but it would have been even better if the hotel offered a choice of firmness levels. Having a selection of soft, medium, and firm pillows would allow guests to choose what best suits their sleeping style. A simple pillow menu or a quick request option through reception would make the stay even more comfortable and add a touch of personalisation to the experience.

We love this hotel

This hotel is absolutely superb. If you can try and definitely book a club room as the rooms are renovated and very luxurious and the club pool and extra perks beyond amazing. The classic rooms are a bit tired but overall the magnificent grounds and pools make up for it. The service and staff are great

A terrific stay for everyone.

We loved our stay at the IGH, we especially loved our free upgrade to a bigger room. The pools were all a lovely temperature, they had many pools and the biggest one with floating beanbags and a swim up bar. Live music at times, even someone playing a saxophone which was great. This place had lovely outdoor restaurants-one by the beach. This hotel was situated right on the beachfront which had many lounges overlooking the sea. The breakfast was amazing, one closer to the pool and another bigger breakfast spread behind the poolside area. The staff were very friendly, especially Komang Mardika, our driver who helped us a lot and picked us up from the airport. A big resort with lovely views from our room, with pretty gardens, walkways, the beautiful beach to visit not far from the pool. Bikes can be ridden also along the walkways. Seafood restaurants a short walk along the beach. We would recommend this place and would visit again.

An amazing Oasis in the middle of Jimbaran

An amazing Oasis in the middle of the madness of Jimbaran - it didn’t feel like a big complex even though it is a large hotel - the staff were amazing and ate in 3 different restaurants there and they were good and reasonable - the beach is long and gorgeous as are the swimming pools there - it was a pleasure to be there.

Intercontinental saved us! We loved every minute and didn’t want to leave see you next year!

Everything!!! We had a rough time in Bali leaving the previous Accom that had no hot water and a ton of renos and road noise that we weren’t aware of. We booked in for our final two nights at intercontinental and we are now rebooking for next year. The breakfast is phenomenal! The staff are amazing! They think of all the details right down to mozzie plug in’s in the rooms.

The only thing to be aware of is that if you stay inside the resort you’ll never see the true Bali.

World Class

The resort is world class! Probably the best I’ve ever seen. The landscapes around the hotel are just amazing! All the gardens and ponds are very taken care of. The beach is also cleaned regularly. You can see the huge difference as soon as you walk 5 minutes away from the hotel’s beach front. The sun beds are strategically placed inside hotels secured premises, but visually you still feel like you are at the beach. Japanese restaurant within the hotel is awesome too! And the Sunset bar has one of the best sunset views on Bali! All in all worth every penny and even more.

The location is very quiet, nothing going on in Jimbaran really. So be prepared that all your holiday will be within the hotels premises, which can easily keep you relaxed in a romantic atmosphere for 1-2 weeks no bother. Rooms are a bit worn out, but only if you compare them to freshly commissioned hotels. Everything works and it’s good enough. Cleanliness overall good, but could be a notch better.

NICE HOTEL

All staffs were very kind. I asked for help and they were always willing to assist me. I had lost something, and they even found it and brought it to my room. At breakfast, I mentioned that the lime ginger jam was delicious, and they kindly brought some to my room as well. I was truly touched, and I would love to come back again.
