Pools!

With a baby, being allocated a room on the second floor with no lift was really annoying. We had to carry the buggy and baby up the stairs.

It was amazing!

Not much to not like!

Very relaxing. Pools excellent. Restaurants great - breakfast is outstanding!

I have been coming to Novotel Bali Benoa for many years. I first stayed here as a teenager, and today, at 40, I came back with my own child, so this hotel holds many wonderful memories and a very special place in my heart. The strongest asset of the hotel remains its staff. Some team members have been there for more than 10 years and are still as kind and welcoming as I remember them. The Front Office, pool and restaurant teams were all extremely pleasant and attentive. The hotel also has a fantastic location and still retains a lot of charm.

Unfortunately, the hotel has not aged well and is clearly in need of more attention and investment. Even in renovated rooms, the overall standard and attention to detail are not quite there. We noticed a smell of humidity, stained towels and several small issues that should not really happen at this level. The food was also disappointing overall. The BBQ dinner was particularly expensive for the quality offered, while breakfast and the restaurant were acceptable but nothing memorable. There are many lovely trainees and staff members, but some clearly need more training and guidance. More than anything, I feel the property is lacking strong management direction, consistent standards and attention to detail. The staff have the right attitude, but they need the tools, training and leadership to bring the hotel back to the standard it deserves.
