The property offers breathtaking views of Loch Goil and the surrounding mountains, creating a truly peaceful and scenic atmosphere. We managed to hike both Ben Donich and The Cobbler right from the doorstep — the location is perfect for anyone who enjoys outdoor adventures. The nearby trails are stunning, and the terrace and conservatory were wonderful places to relax and take it all in. A fantastic base for nature lovers and hikers.
Overall a lovely stay — really enjoyed the experience. Just a minor suggestion: if checkout could routinely be extended to 11 AM, it would make the departure a bit more relaxed, as that’s quite standard in most places. Nonetheless, everything else was excellent. Thank you!

The only negative comment was the water was discoloured but the owner warned us of this But was still safe to drink and use But again this was out of the owners hands

Great location with great views !
The location and the view were excellent. The house had all the home comforts and was well laid out. If you get the main bedroom with view and on-suite, then you are the lucky one.
I had one of the rooms at the back of the house, which I found very depressing. (The decor, and view of the street) I did not like the high divan bed. Ended up sleeping in the small bedroom on the last night as it had a more comfortable mattress. Would have liked access to the coal fire, as I have one at home.
