Superb in all respects.

Only miniscule flaw was the toaster didn't work, but really was not an issue at all as our kitchen had everything one could need for a short or longer stay.

We loved our short stay and would recommend Arhontiko to anyone.

The apartment was very clean and extremely spacious, every utensil and amenity was provided, the place was very well thought out with lots of nice touches like extra lighting and sockets, lovely basket of local treats to welcome us was a nice touch. The lady who greeted us after we’d settled and then every day with “Kalimera” was lovely.

The only slight downside was the location which was a bit further from the town but that was more than made up for by the amount of space and there was a supermarket and a bakery very close anyway.

Fabulous stay. Maria is a gem and truly made our experience one of a kind. Clean room, well stocked and a lovely little patio to watch the sunrise over breakfast. 10/10 highly recommend

Very clean and comfortable apartment in a quiet but accessible location

Quiet location with a lovely boardwalk along the beach into Naxos town (20mins). Exceptionally clean appartment which was serviced daily. We were very well lookedcafter by the cheerful housekeeper. 5 mins walk to good supermarket. Free transfer from port was very welcome at 6:30 am!

Excellent stay close to the Bus Stop, Supermarket and Beach

Maria was an exceptional host. She does'nt understand English but still goes out of her way to communicate with you and make you feel welcome and comfortable. Loved the little seating area outside and used it frequently to enjoy our coffees. The Agios Gerogios beach is literally a 3 min walk - so convenient! Kudos to their admin team who handles all the communication and recommendations - they were very thorough!

Great, I highly recommend it especially if you have a dog.

The accommodation was great, clean, comfortable and in a very good location. I have to mention Miss Maria, who is especially kind and helpful and immediately helped in case we had any issues. We traveled with our dog who was very welcome there and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our favourite place to stay in Greece!

We have stayed here three times now: as a couple in 2019; as a family in 2024 and 2025 (May) with our now two year-old daughter. We stayed somewhere else (not very good) for a 2020 trip to Naxos and really regretted it - and so we were thrilled to return in 2024 and find that we still loved Arhontiko as much as we had previously. It is absolutely ideally situated, on a quiet track just off the main town periphery road. So, you can walk to the road and be at the wonderful large supermarket within minutes (as well as Cine Naxos and a few cafes/eateries) or walk a bit further into the main town. Or, you can head in the other direction to the beach, which is just a five minute walk through a lovely 'countryside' area populated by hotels and apartments. Quiet and beautiful. It's a lovely setting. We stayed in the downstairs 'Deluxe Quadruple Room', which has a large terrace facing onto the front of the property. The room had clearly been recently completely re-designed and re-decorated and is absolutely beautiful. Exceptional furniture/bed, lovely little kitchenette etc and large TV on the wall with Netflix (we were able watch using our login.) The bathroom/shower room is the best I have ever seen in a Greek island apartment - stunning. As ever, the host, Maria, was warm and friendly and we were driven to the apartment from the port - a lovely touch. Arhontko is the best.

A truly local Naxos experience with the lovely Maria as your host

Arhontiko is a very cute, traditional Greek guest house with a super-friendly host Maria. Hugs and kisses are guaranteed. I stayed in Artemis room and was impressed with the decor and interior. Maria makes the room every day and provides fresh towels and little treats, if you are a good boy or girl. I was perfectly happy staying there and was not left wanting anything. A true local home experience is guaranteed.

The local family next door are very expressive, regardless of the time of day. I guess this counts as local neighbourhood experience. Also, there was a little back-and-forth with the payment, which could have been done more efficiently. There is an 11 minute walk into town which some people might need to consider. I did not mind it. :-)

3 day stay

Very comfortable and impressive suites, which provide incredible value. There is a direct walking trail along the beach into Naxos town which was ideal. The host Maria, was so lovely and organised taxis to the port for us.

Kyria Maria (that's Mrs Maria in Greek) is very kind, treat you like long lost family, bonus points if you attempt to speak a little Greek to her. Accomodation was superb and plenty (we had their 2-bedroom apartment), 5 minute easy walk from a large SPAR supermarket (which you can get pretty much anything). It is also walkable to the port (assuming you do not have suitcases) and all the wonderful side street of Naxos.

We didn't like having to leave the accomodation and wish we could take Mrs Maria home with us!😄😄

A home away from home!

The best host ever! The room is definitely worth much more than what you paid for! So tastefully decorated and the bed is dreamily comfy! Feels like a home away from home. The hostess will even serve you biscuits when they clean the room! When I return to Naxos, I'll no doubt stay here again! Location is also perfect as it is a short 5 - 10 mins walk away! I pretty much walked everywhere including to the central town area which would take you approximately 20 minutes to reach.

Close to the beach and beach clubs while still being outside the business of the Chora. Less than 5 minute walk to market, coffee, bakery and authentic Greek grill. Great outdoor space for morning coffee or evening cards. Two bathrooms/showers was a great bonus.

Superb

The room has everything we can hope for. It's like an AirBnb apartment with cooking facilities (even though we didn't cook) and a hugh balcony for us to have a relaxing breakfast (with our own food) and to have our washed clothes dry out. It's also very clean & spacious, and the owner is very friendly even though she doesn't speak much English. It's very enjoyable to be able to just walk to the beach in a few minutes & start swimming!

The toilet flush wasn't strong on our first day, and on the second day it stopped working! But the owner immediately asked for the plumber & had it fixed very soon.

Gorgeous villa with wonderful hospitality

Amazing amazing stay! Maria is so wonderful, she helped us do our laundry, left us little treats each afternoon, and constantly tidied up our room. Great location and just a stunning room, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and so homey.

The place was clean with a lot of attention to details - we stayed in a two-room apartment. The host is very hospitable and greeted us every morning. There are all the necessities and even flowers in each room. There was a beach nearby; had a car though so we went to other beautiful beaches on the island. it is also close to the main town of Chora but quiet with a fresh smell of a morning. We absolutely loved it! The nice touch of a wonderful host felt all throughout the place!

Loved, loved, loved our Stay

Beautiful, comfortable room. Details were beautiful and relaxing. Kitchenette was just what we needed. Bathroom was designed nicely. Balcony was large, we ate breakfast there each morning. They thoughtfully provided a drying rack too. Maria was welcoming and brought us watermelon each day, she made us feel right at home. We loved her cheerfulness and happy demeaner. Location was perfect, set just outside of town, so it was nice and quiet but town was easily in walking distance. Beach was just down the road, a 3 minute walk. Beach restaurants are right there and we enjoyed a fresh fish grill at the first restaurant on the beach while watching the sunset. Altogether an incomparable vacation. Also, provided free pickup at the airport.

The road in front was a little busy but the property is set well back from the road so we did not find it to be an actual problem.
