Having travelled extensively across Europe and stayed in many hotels and apartments, Ikaros Studios has definitely shot to the very top of my favourites list. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how tranquil and peaceful the atmosphere was. The pool area was meticulously clean and beautifully maintained, surrounded by gorgeous flowers and shrubs, making the whole place feel more like a private retreat than simply a hotel. The added bonus of having access to a hot tub in a lovely shaded area of the garden made our stay that extra bit special. One of the real highlights for us was having a balcony with stunning mountain views. Getting up early to sit outside with a morning coffee and watch the sunrise over the mountains was truly magical and something we’ll always remember. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their warmth and attention to detail really made a difference. The location was also perfect for us. It’s situated in a quiet area, yet everything we needed was within easy walking distance — just five minutes to a large supermarket, bus stop, bakery, café and open-air cinema, and around 10–15 minutes to a gorgeous beach and the centre of Chora’s charming old town. A special mention also has to go to the cleaner, who did an outstanding job. Our room was cleaned to perfection every single day. All in all, Ikaros Studios exceeded our expectations. We had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautifully maintained place with fantastic hosts. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.
