Cragend Grange was perfectly located for visiting Cragside House, Rothbury and Northumberland in general. The house was beautifully finished and offered all the facilities we could have asked for. This is high quality bed and breakfast accommodation with a fabulous relaxed atmosphere and lovely hosts. Breakfast was brilliant! Our sincere thanks to Lou and Shaun for the warm welcome, extensive local historical knowledge and entertaining conversation.

We had a lovely stay (4 nights) this August. Lou and Shaun are excellent hosts and gave us tons of recommendations, and excellent breakfasts, paying attention to our vegetarian diet. The room is huge and comfortable, and the surrounding countryside is very beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is close to the Cragside House and Alnwick, and other places of interest.

Very welcoming. Owners were very helpful. Accommodation very pleasant and historically interesting. Breakfast was good and plenty to eat. Location very good.
No serviettes / napkins during breakfast.

Lovely location, building and hosts. Spacious rooms and great if you want a rural location but still convenient to popular tourist sites. Lou and Shaun were excellent hosts providing a wealth of information about the area and life on a working farm.
