The location is just perfect. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Couldn’t fault it. Fiona is a super host and her breakfasts were amazing. Will definitely return.

An absolute gem of a B&B. Warm welcome, comfortable room, excellent breakfasts, and lovely host. The Night Owl is set in a beautiful, peaceful, rural area with good links to Alnwick and the A1. Alnwick has plenty to see, particularly the Alnwick Gardens, which you need to book. Add the Poison Garden to your booking for gruesome fascination! Easy travels to the sandy beach at Alnmouth, and to various National Trust places in the area. I particularly recommend Cragside. Beware, Lindisfarne gets very busy and seems commercialised, but the Priory and church were interesting.
Not a criticism, but due to an unexpected heatwave, a fan would have been welcome.
