Lovely location, very quite and perfect location to explore the fantastic surrounding areas.
We were on our way back from exploring Scotland and visiting grand daughter at University, so explored Northumbria at the same time, plenty to do and see.
The hosts were great, friendly and did a lovely well presented breakfast.
Had some great conversations with them over breakfast.
It is like stopping with friends rather than the usual B&B, hope to see them again in the future.

Excellent hosts in a lovely and comfortable house in the countryside. Breakfast and dinner were of high standards.

Excellent hosts who made me feel extremely welcome all week especially as I was travelling alone. Dined there every evening and thoroughly enjoyed a very varied menu.

Welcoming owners. Nice breakfast. Comfortable bed.
The room was by no means the cleanest. Dusty chandelier, a bulb not working, masses of dust around the room and in the fireplace. Bedspread was stained.
