Lagoon Apartment

Clean and cozy apartment. Located in a quiet community and close to train station. The host is very nice and helpful. Recommend.

Spacious, and great location.

Close to the train station/super market and main boat stops(5 min walk). Easy to get to with suitcases. No significant stairs to negotiate. Quiet and out of the tourist zone. Allows check in from 12.30pm and allowed bag storage on the departing day. Reasonable amount of space, two bathrooms, washing machine and dishwasher were useful. Very good level of kitchen equipment. Less than 5 mins walk to nice restaurants on a quieter side canal (Crea?) and als I made a mistake with the booking regarding the number of people and the host was very understanding and easily resolved the matter. I appreciate that we may have been given a different room and different bedding configuration without this error of mine.

Overall we did enjoy our stay and felt it was good value for money. I have a few comments all the same. Overall it is hard to rate as there are some very good points. Check in process was a little slow, but probably more due to the nature of the accommodation than any persons fault. As an apartment complex there is no reception and the front gate is locked by key so we had to make a phone call then wait a little while outside before we were attended to. As there was more than one group checking in at the same time, there was a bit of a wait. As mentioned, an error on my part might have contributed to us having an apartment with the bed for the 3rd person as a sofa bed. The sofa bed wasn't comfortable and my son had insect bites of some kind which he was sure came from the bed (bed bugs? fleas? mosquitos?). We didn't experience this in the upstairs bedroom. Finally, I should just note that the staircase is very squeaky and the handrails do not feel secure. I would recommend some attention.

Lovey space and quiet and value for money for bigger family we were only a couple. Second bathroom downstairs and washing machine a plus. Easy quick 5min walk to train even in the rain.

Not in a scenic typical Venetian feel area although restaurants close by. No windows with views and upstairs bathroom was tiny to service the only upstairs bedroom. No cupboards only a set of drawers and open coat rack for clothing.
