Home away from home in The Hague

Location right in the centre , very charming apartment with lots of space, a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Several parking options nearby. Home away from home. Very thoughtful hostess Jessica. We hope to be back !

A disadvantage of being in the centre: the noise from the pub opposite does affect one of the two bedrooms- especially in the weekend . Earplugs are recommended. Some small suggestions: the water tap in the kitchen isn’t the most practical and the ventilation in the toilet could do with a little upgrade.

A well located apartment with friendly and helpful hosts.

Location was great. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. There was a very good cafe for breakfast next door.

The stairs were very steep. There was only one loo, downstairs. It was very noisy in the night in the front room. The payment process was overly complicated.

Good for couples who have good legs and who want to party

Good location, great kitchen appliances, good for the # of people. Very responsive hostess.

Toilet is downstairs, steep stairs- not really safe for seniors, noise after 12am bec it is located near bars. So if you plan to bring seniors and have a goodnight quiet sleep at night, this is not for you.

Stylish apartment in the centre of The Hague. Super comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. Great communication with Jessica the apartment manager.

Steep stairs took some getting used too. Bars in the area were noisy at night (bring your earplugs).

Disappointing

The location was very good. Jessica was very helpful when I had lost my jewelry.

The photos on Booking.com are very misleading. There is no indication that the apartment is on 2 levels with the toilet on level 1 and the bedrooms and bathroom on level 2. I expected to have external stairs to the apartment but not the narrow steep internal stairs to level 2. I slept on the sofa in the lounge rather than attempt the internal stairs in the dark through the night, In fact we booked into a hotel for the final 3 nights.

A perfect stay in a wonderfully spacious apartment in the centre of Den Haag!

Jessica was very kind to us during our stay and was the perfect host. She gave us a warm welcome on arrival and also checked in during our stay to ensure everything was fine. She took the time to understand our needs and met them all. We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment, and it felt just like home.

Excellent communication with the Host! Apartment was incredibly clean and spacious - felt like home. Location to transit, local shops and restaurants was incredible. Would absolutely recommend!

Stairs to the 2nd floor would be very tricky for some. Having only one toilet and sink, located on the main floor, with the shower on the 2nd floor, was a bit tricky to manage with 5 people, but we managed.

Fantastic, central location for exploring The Hague. A little noise off the street at night, but not a major problem. Apartment was extremely spacious, well stocked, bedrooms were good and the roof terrace heaven!

Nothing really. Only having the one bathroom and it being off one of the bedrooms was perhaps not ideal, but with the separate toilet, not too much of a hinderance.

The location of the apartment suited our needs to get to the Invictus Games Sports Park with ease.

The host was very helpful. Took interest in the reason for our travel to The Hague and gave superb directions and phone numbers for modes of transport. She showed us how everything worked in the apartment and left clear instructions on how to contact her should we need anything.

The fact that the only toilet was within the living space of the apartment was a little inconvenient. The bathroom was off one of the bedrooms and therefore you had to go through the bedroom to get to it. However, it was not an issue at all.

Beautiful short stay in The Hague

Top location centrally located, clean and proper, big rooms, everything can be reached easily in walking distance or with public transport, parking lot is cool, Jessica is super friendly and had a lot of tipps for our stay. We are sure to come back again. Thanks so much!

It would be nice to see a ground plan of the Apartment as the bathroom is only reached through 1 bedroom. For people with handicap (i. E. Crutches) it is extremely challenging if not impossible to reach. Windows to front are difficult to open (lovely old windows slightly crooked) Für 5 Erwachsene nicht geeignet

Fantastische lokatie, zeer prettige ontvangst door Jessica. Werden geholpen met betreden parkeergarage en geholpen met baggage. Heerlijk bad en uitstekend te verwarmen ruimtes. We komen terug in april.

Prachtig appartement midden in het centrum

Het appartement is prachtig! Er is aan alles gedacht en de uitrusting is voor 4 of 5 personen. Vanuit het appartement loop je de gezellige Papestraat in en ben je in minder dan 5 minuten bij De Passage. De tramhaltes zijn eveneens dichtbij.

Het enige wat echt tegenviel, was de geluidsoverlast van buiten, vooral van de pubs schuin tegenover het appartement. Zelfs met oordopjes was er veel lawaai.

Locatie, smaakvolle inrichting. Je kunt hier lekker werken en direct het centrum in voor een bar of restaurant. Parkeerplaats op 50m in garage.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr flexibel bzüglich der Schlüsselübergabe, wir konnten unsere Ankunftszeit nicht gut einschätzen, wegen Stau und Berufsverkehr in einer unbekannten Stadt ! Das Apartment hat eine vollautomatische Kaffeemaschine, was sehr angenehm war. Von der Dachterrasse hatten wir leider nichts, weil das Wetter nicht passte. Spitzenklasse Croissant zum Frühstück direkt in der Nachbarschaft gekauft.

Der Wasserhahn in der Küche ist eine seltsame Fehlkonstruktion. Das Apartment liegt in einem Bereich, in dem viel Abendunterhaltung stattfindet. Geräuschempfindliche Menschen brauchen da Ohrstöpsel, wenn sie früh ins Bett wollen.

Heel mooi verblijf maar wel met oordoppen als je vooraan slaapt.

Inchecken ging heel vlot en de ruimte is heel mooi en verzorgd. Alles wat je nodig hebt is echt aanwezig en zelfs meer.

We kwamen aan op donderdag en je zit echt in de uitgangsbuurt. Dus hadden we in de kamer vooraan daar last van tot 4 uur. Dat is wel iets dat een paar oorpluggen kan oplossen en dat was ook nodig want de vrijdag en zaterdag ging het feestje schuin tegen over ons verblijf door tot 5 uur s'morgens.

Mittendrin und stylisch

Mitten in Den Haag in einer lebendigen Alstadtgasse mit viel Charme gelegen und außergewöhnlich und großzügig ausgestattet (tolle Kaffeemaschine, Küche Unikat, komfortable Sitzmöbel). Zentraler kann man wohl nicht wohnen, wir haben die besondere Atmosphäre und die Dachterasse sehr genossen. Bäcker, Supermarkt, bewachtes kostenloses Fahrraddepot ganz in der Nähe.

Zu alldem passte die kleine enge Toilette nicht - wir waren zu fünft. Und man muss auch wissen, dass die zwei Schlafräume und das Bad im Geschoss darüber liegen. Und abends wird es in dem Viertel tatsächlich voll, fröhlich und laut.
