The Perfect stay in Den Haag!

The apartment was excellent and clean, the location perfect, 15 min walk to the center.

The location is great with a great view, close to the Den Haag Centraal, Albert Heijn is also close, wonderful parks around. The staff is very kind, responsive and helpful. We had a great time during our stay.

Good stay, quite comfortable but there are niggling issues that could be easily addressed by the landlord.

The location is great. I also think the living space is designed quite well, considering how small the floor area is. And I like that everything included the washing machine, is in the apartment and not at a community hall down in the basement somewhere.

No elevators- that was the biggest challenge, given I had a lot of heavy luggage that I had to carry up 4 floors of steep stairs. Second was the fact that the washing machine setup did not have a separate dryer. the washing machine’s drying cycle was highly ineffective (not sure if the machine was faulty), so every day I had clothes strewn all over in order to dry them. Third, there are no ledges in the shower to keep stuff like shampoo etc, which is super inconvenient and a problem that can be easily resolved by the landlord by just installing a shelf. Fourth, the AC thermostat has some issues - so sometimes when it got hot (because of the big, beautiful skylight, which is also creates a greenhouse effect and warms the room) and I turned on the AC, it wouldn’t stop even after reaching the required temperature and the room could end up getting super cold. Fifth, no garbage disposal in the building. Given this is positioned like a travel-stay apartment, I think this should be provided by the landlord rather than guests having to lug garbage every day to the nearest garbage collection point.

Nice large apartment in a great location. Very clean and well maintained.

Everything was great except the upstairs bathroom. It had a really bad smell, like someone had smoked 100 cigarettes in there. We tried airing it out, but the smell persisted all week. Fortunately there were two bathrooms, so we just used the other one.

The flat was overall very good. The kitchen amenities where excellent. The flat was cleaned to a good standard and well maintained.

The flat was on the second floor up two flights of very steep steps which as pensioners we found quite tiring.

Exceptional

A brilliantly laid out apartment with two separate en suite bathrooms. The apartment had ice cold air con which was essential in the record breaking heatwave we arrived in. Great WiFi, safe convenient parking, well equipped kitchen area and great little garden. It was near to supermarket and bars and restaurants and only 15 mins walk to station and old town. Perfect!

Excellent short term accommodation

The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and the beds very very comfortable, with good quality cotton linen. Well equipped! Good WiFi !

A starter pack is supplied with cleaning products etc but it would be good if these could be expanded for people coming for longer than a night or two. Also, the windows could not open.

Η τοποθεσία ήταν σε ιδανική απόσταση (10 λεπτά με τα πόδια) από τον χώρο εργασίας μου (Koninklijke Bibliotheek den Haag - Κεντρικός Σταθμός Χάγης), αλλά και αρκετά κοντά στο ιστορικό κέντρο. Το μπαλκόνι με θέα στο πάρκο (αν υπάρχει δυνατότητα, επιλέξτε κάποιο από αυτά τα δωμάτια). Άμεση ανταπόκριση της οικοδέσποινας και της συνεργάτιδάς της, εύκολη επικοινωνία με τηλέφωνο, μηνύματα, αλλά και με φυσική παρουσία στο κατάλυμα.

Υπάρχουν δωμάτια που βρίσκονται σε πιο ψηλούς ορόφους, με σκάλες δύσχρηστες για άτομα με κινητικές δυσκολίες. Ρωτήστε σε ποιον όροφο είναι το δωμάτιο προτού κλείσετε, εάν είναι δυνατόν. Πρέπει να σημειώσω ότι καθώς το αρχικό δικό μας δωμάτιο ήταν στον δεύτερο και είχαμε πρόβλημα με τη σκάλα, η οικοδέσποινα μας διευκόλυνε αμέσως και μας μετακίνησε σε δωμάτιο σε πιο χαμηλό όροφο.

Appartement idéal, mais attention aux escaliers

Tout était parfait, sauf les matelas qui étaient un peu trop mous. Attention aux personnes à mobilité restreinte, il n’y a pas d’ascenseur et les escaliers sont très étroits. Notre appartement était au 3e (65 marches)

Groot schoon appartement in goede buurt, temperatuur binnen kan beter geregeld worden

De locatie was goed, vlakbij meerdere supermarkten, een winkelstraat en openbaar vervoer. De communicatie met BizStay was goed en ik kon altijd snel iemand te pakken krijgen. De keuken was prima en prettig om in te koken. Er waren meer dan voldoende bestek, borden en glazen.

Voor het halen van de sleutel moest gebeld worden om een afspraak te maken, en er werd mij aan de telefoon op het hart gedrukt dat ik daar echt wel moest zijn om die tijd. Uiteindelijk was er niemand op de afgesproken tijd, en moesten we alsnog bellen om de code van de sleutelbox te krijgen. Dus het is mij niet helemaal duidelijk waarom er uberhaupt een afspraak gemaakt moest worden. In het appartement dat we geboekt hadden bleek de verwarmingsketel kapot. Er kwam diezelfde avond nog iemand kijken om daarmee te helpen, maar de ketel ging niet aan dus we moesten naar een ander appartement in hetzelfde gebouw (gelukkig was er nog een beschikbaar). In dat appartement was er ook iets mis met de instellingen van de thermostaat - het werd 's nachts heel koud in het appartement. Ik had gebeld en er kwam een monteur de dag daarna langs maar die heeft niets gedaan en zei dat dit normaal was omdat de temperatuur lager werd gezet als er geen beweging in het appartement was. Aangezien het 's nachts tussen de 10 en 12 graden was in het appartement had ik BizStay weer gebeld. Ze hebben de dag daarna weer een monteur langsgestuurd die uiteindelijk wel het probleem verholpen heeft (bedankt Roly!). Het werd allemaal opgelost en er was steeds communicatie, maar uiteindelijk hebben we dus bijna 3 dagen met een klein kind in een ijskoud appartement gezeten. Daarnaast waren er wat kleine problemen in het appartement zoals een slaapkamerdeur die niet goed dichtging en een toilet waar uberhaupt geen verwarming zat (daar was het waarschijnlijk rond de 5 graden binnen). Wij reisden met een kind van bijna 2. Er was geen eettafel in het appartement, maar alleen een ontbijtbar met hoge barkrukken. Dus voor families die met kleine kinderen reizen is het appartement niet ideaal.

L'appartement était vraiment propre et très joli. L'emplacement est à une vingtaine de minutes à pied pour aller au centre. Le quartier est très calme mais devant une route où on entends beaucoup les voitures et/ou les gens, mais seulement du côté salon. Les chambres, eux, sont situer devant un parc calme. Le dessous de la porte de la douche était ouvert, ce qui faisait que l'eau sortait et mouille le sol. Sur le balcon, il n'y a pas de petit abris pour se protéger de la pluie et quelques ustensiles de cuisine manquant qui serait bien utile. Sinon à part ça, l'appartement était vraiment parfait pour notre voyage. J'y retournerai sans hésiter 👍🏼.

Porte de douche qui laisse passer l'eau par dessous. Pas d"'abri-pluie" au balcon. Ustensiles de cuisine utile manquant.
