About this apartment rental

Spacious, luminous and quiet loft apartment in the heart of the citycenter, around the corner from the cozy restaurants on the most beautiful canal in The Hague, 5 minutes walk from the international train station Holland Spoor. From our house you are within 15 minutes in Delft, Rotterdam and 25 minutes in 50 minutes in Amsterdam. A very good base for a visit to the Netherlands.
Our house consists of two apartments that have been merged into a single dwelling. To make it easy we have numbered and named some of the rooms. Which you will find listed below the map. Of course you can always call us for consultation.

A very comfortable and spacious apartment. One bedroom with king bed one with two twins and one single bed in the laundry as well as one full bath and a half bath. The area was great, lots of good restaurants nearby and grocery stores close. You could get to the airport and the inner city trains direct from the HS train station nearby. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

My family and I missed the chance to experience The Hague and the comfort of this lovely apartment, but communicating with Giancarlo was enough to understand how kind, welcoming and helpful he is as a person. He provided us very prompt replies to all of our (endless) questions, and he was very understanding of our schedule changing despite the very last minute notice. It was nice to have the chance to communicate in Italian, along with English, which enhanced the chance to establish online trust with our host. Thank you Giancarlo, see you next time!

We had great time

The appartment is in a quite Street close to the center. It is very spacious. Two big bedrooms and two toilettes. Great shower. Very special design which gave us home feeling right away. And we loved the small balcony. Sacha the host was very nice and attentive to our requests. On the downside parking is problematic all over den Hague. You have to use the paying pole. However, there was never a problem of finding parking place right next to the appartment.

Owners were helpful and easy to communicate with. They even left us a lovely Easter morning surprise of chocolates and flowers. We loved the location, easy to get to train station and a lot of neighborhood shops for grocery shopping. All in all it was the perfect spot to spend time exploring the Hague and Delft.

The upstairs flat was comfortable and spacious in quiet residential area. It is was easy to find and in a great location close to Holland Spoor station which meant we could easily visit other cities in Holland as well as exploring the fascinating and lovely Hague. There is no separate sitting room but a large kitchen diner. There are a number of stairs as you would expect .

I was traveling alone and enjoyed the spaciousness of this bright, tastefully decorated flat. It would be perfect for a family or group of friends. There is no living/sitting room area, the large kitchen serves that function, which was fine for me. Also no tv, again fine for me. It was reassuring that the owner lives in the same building and could answer quick questions and reset the wifi quickly when it dropped out a couple times. This was a working trip for me and the internet overall was very reliable. Greatly appreciated having a clothes washer and dryer, main bathroom and shower are nice and updated. Quiet street, a bonus as I'm a light sleeper. The Hague is a small city so it was walking distance everywhere I wanted to go. I felt a little uncomfortable walking in the surrounding area after 9pm but I am perhaps overly sensitive to that issue. Convenient to be so close to Holland Spoor train station. Easily walked with luggage. Very nice touches make you feel welcome--wine and bread appreciated after a long trip. Would stay there again.

We loved this lovely little flat in The Hague! Giancarlo couldn't have been more welcoming-- he even provided us with a lovely snack and bottle of wine on arrival. The decor is fun and funky, the beds super comfy, the kitchen/seating/eating area warm and welcoming. The balcony overlooks a beautiful courtyard. Public transportation is a short walk away and on the way, many great places to stop and grab a delicious pastry or a quick snack. If I every return to the area, this is definitely where I will stay!

This appartment is really nice, very stylish actually, and had everything we needed for a week-long stay in the city. The kitchen is well equiped, the bathroom is nice, especially the big shower. The bedrooms are nice and quiet and the beds are very comfortable. There really is nothing more we could have wished for and if there was, the owner was ready to help anytime and lives in the same building. Perfect!

Es ist eine sehr schöne retro-stylische Ferienwohnung direkt im Herzen der autofreien Innenstadt. Trotzdem ist die Wohnung ruhig in grüner Umgebung gelegen, da sie in einer Nebenstraße liegt. Morgens wird man durch jede Menge Vogelgezwitscher geweckt. Unglaublich gute Betten!! Schön wäre eine Geschirrspüler gewesen, könnte man vielleicht mal nachrüsten.

El apartamento está en una zona muy céntrica y también cerca de las estaciones de tren y tranvía, por lo que puedes moverte cómodamente por otras ciudades o zonas. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sie hat eine sehr gute Lage. Die Innenstadt und der Bahnhof, sowie andere öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, sind schnell fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hat auch schnell auf Anfragen reagiert. Ich kann die Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen.

Giancarlo ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und hat uns persönlich empfangen. Er hat uns auch tolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und sind stets sehr entspannt in den Tag gestartet. Die Lage ist super um Den Haag und auch Rotterdam zu erkunden. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

... wohnt es sich sehr zentral und ruhig. Chinatown, Bahnhof ganz in der Nähe. Fahrräder kann man einige Minuten entfernt ausleihen und schöne Fahrten ans Meer, nach Delft und Leiden unternehmen. Die Wohnung im stylischen "Shabby Chic" in dem Gebäude aus den 1930er Jahren hat uns ausnehmend gut gefallen. Der Gastgeber hatte prima Tipps zum gratis Parken und hat uns am Ankunfts- und Abfahrtstag einen Parkplatz vor dem Haus reserviert. Sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Die Wohnung ist total süß und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Betten und die Bettwäsche sind sehr bequem, was ich so selten in den Niederlanden erlebt habe. Wir waren insgesamt mit 2 Pärchen dort. Theoretisch hätte es sogar noch ein drittes Zimmer mit einem Extra Bett gegeben. Die gemütliche Wohnküche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man findet alles was man braucht. Auch Gewürze oder so etwas wie Frischhaltefolie ist z.B. vorhanden. :) Der Balkon ist zwar klein, aber man hat einen tollen Blick auf die Gärten und ein paar Hochhäuser. Wenn es dunkel wird geht die Lichterkette automatisch an und der Tag kann so gemütlich enden. Obwohl die Wohnung so zentral liegt, ist es total ruhig, da sie in einer kleinen Seitenstraße liegt. Geschäfte und der Bahnhof sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Empfehlenswert ist es auch, einen e-Roller zu mieten, welche überall herumstehen. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfreich und super freundlich. Wenn wir mal eine Frage hatten war er unkompliziert per Whatsapp zu erreichen. Auch einen Vorschlag für einen kostenlosen Parkplatz hat er parat. Insgesamt kann ich diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

Wir haben die Wohnung für eine Woche gehabt und es war eine tolle Zeit. Sie liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig, nächste Tram Station ist Ca 8 Gehminuten entfernt. Auto kann man außerhalb parken und dann alles zu Fuß, Tram oder Fahrrad machen . Die Wohnung selber ist im „shabby chic“ eingerichtet, hätte aber sauberer sein können, war aber „ok“ Das einzige was es auszusetzen gab, ist die doch sehr spärlich eingerichtete Küche / da sollte man schon viele Utensilien mitbringen um richtig zu kochen

Die großzügige Ferienwohnung liegt im zweiten Stock einer schmalen Straße ohne Durchgangsverkehr nahe der beiden Bahnhöfe Den Haags und der Innenstadt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind so zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Die Treppen zur Wohnung sind, wie in den Niederlanden üblich, steil und schmal. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich mit liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Es gibt zwar kein Wohnzimmer, die Wohnküche überzeugt aber mit ihrem Charme und einer breiten Polsterbank. An dem großen Tisch haben alle Platz. Auch der kleine Balkon mit Blick in die Gärten lädt zum Sitzen ein. Die zwei Schlafzimmer sind groß, die Betten gut. Ungewöhnlich ist das Badezimmer mit großzügiger Dusche, das nur mit einem Vorhang vom Flur abgetrennt ist. Zum Glück gibt es aber ein zweites kleines WC mit Tür! Unbedingt dem Tipp des Vermieters zum kostenfreien Parken außerhalb des Stadtkerns folgen, die Parkgebühren sind mit 1,80 je Stunde vor der Tür der Wohnung hoch. Dafür findet man aber zum Ein- und Ausladen immer einen Parkplatz. Die Vermieter sind unkompliziert und nett.

Flexible and friendly owners of a large and great flat

We were four people staying during the weekend in Den Haag. Communication beforehand was perfect, we could check-in earlier and were allowed to leave the luggage behind afterwards. The owners were very friendly and also gave us some advise how to spend the rain days in Den Haag. The flat is large and equipped with everything we needed. It is very close to the city center and was a great start for our tours through Den Haag. Thank you very much for the nice holidays!

Schön war es. Den Haag ist immer wieder eine Reise wert. Die Unterkunft ist top gelegen und super stylisch und sauber. Das Auto muss ein wenig weg geparkt werden aber so Zentrumsnah braucht man es wirklich nicht. Schon der Kaffee auf dem Balkon mit grünen Kanarienvögeln ist sehenswert.
