Three hiking friends and I stayed. Found it very comfortable, airy, bright, and stocked with everything we needed. My only comment would be to add a shower curtain on the tube shower and a shower head that is higher on the wall so an adult can take a shower conveniently.

Apartment is located a super location to have the full view of Matterhorn. Nice size of rooms, two balconies have direct view of Matterhorn. Kitchen facilities are adequate but can be improved. However, nice to have two baths but the shower area needs to be renovated.

The apt was very nice, spacious, clean, with fantastic views! A canal runs just below building with soothing sounds of water. Close to town, shops, restaurants, gondola stations and buses. 2 problems: We had trouble with washing machine and owner was out of country so although he responded, we couldn't get help with it. Local caretaker also didn't know what to do. The building laundry room has washers but we couldn't figure those out either. All instructions in German (we're American) and we couldn't get enough change to use. It wasn't even clear how much it cost. We did finally get the apt washer to work on our last day. All this to say that it would be helpful to have a property manager locally who could help with these issues. Only other complaint is that there were helicopters flying around the building every day due to construction. I mean right next to and over the building, to the extent that we couldn't go in or out of the building at certain times. Workers had area closed off. Other than these things, we enjoyed the apt and our stay there.

The property is just like the pictures. Beautiful views, very clean and really comfortable. It was my husband, two teenage daughters and I that stayed and we loved it. The ski lift is a 2 min walk and everything is really close too. David was great to communicate with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Within a stones throw of the main Furi lift up the mountain this apartment does not disappoint. Beautiful Matterhorn views out the living room window and from the dining and living area balconies. Awesome West-facing sun on the deck for aprés. We also appreciated the large ski & boot room right at the entrance and on the same level as the apartment, as well as the overall size of the common areas in the apartment. The primary bath needs a little bit of tile maintenance in the shower, but it was clean and everything worked as expected. A, would definitely stay here again.

Check-in process could not have been better. Great communication. We were even able checkin a bit early, which was so helpful with all our luggage.The view of the Matterhorn was spectacular. We loved sitting on the balcony with the most incredible view. The other windows have great views of town and the river.Great location with a quick 2 minute walk to the Glacier Paradise ski resort and and little longer 5-10 minute walk to the town center.The flat was roomy and very comfortable for our family of 5.Fantastic place!

This property is perfect ! The view of the Matterhorn is unbelievable ! We sat on the balcony both for breakfast and dinner and just marveled at the view ! The apartment is very well equipped and for us was great that it was wheelchair accessible as our son is paraplegic. Additional bonus is that it is also really close to the gondolas that go up the mountain for the summer hikers or winter skiers/snowboarders. Lastly - the apartment is a little out of the town main center which we really liked - it was quieter - but within 10 mins walk you’re in the heart of it - bottom line - this place is superb !!! We will be back - thanks David and Josephine for sharing such a great place ! Best Mark, Gillian and Jack

Excellent property for a ski trip. The apartment is a 3 minute walk from the base of the gondola, and has ski and boot storage next to the front door. The check-in process was very easy, and David provided lots of information and recommendations in advance of our arrival.

We are a family of 4 (adults) that comfortably enjoyed the apartment. The apartment is well appointed and well located in the village. We loved the 3 minute walk to the lifts. Very convenient! Plus it was an easy 5-10 minute walk to the main part of Zermatt. The view of the Matterhorn from the apartment is spectacular. If you ski and want good location. This is the place!

We stayed at David's apartment on a family ski vacation. The proximity to the cable car departure is perfect, and coming back is very easy from either side of the ski resort (very close shuttle bus stop). The apartment features everything needed, and boasts the most majestic view on the Matterhorn! Ski room with heated boot rack just across the apartment. Shops, bars and restaurants are walking distance and offer a wide choice of dining possibilities, from fine to alpine.. or both! We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

We just returned from a week in Zermatt. It was our first time there. The apartment was a perfect size for my husband and I and our two teenage sons. We skied everyday and the location was perfect with a very short walk to the lift. The ski room right across from our room was wonderful too for storing our gear and changing. The views from the apartment's balconies were amazing! The apartment is a short walk to many shops and restaurants also which we loved. There were plenty of choices. The apartment has all of the amenities you need. We cooked many of our meals which saved a lot of money!

We stayed at David's apartment for a family ski vacation. The apartment is clean, modern, large by European standards, and well equipped. Conveniently located, the unit boasts a great location for skiing or hiking - just 150 meters from the gondola. There are several good bars and restaurants nearby as well as a good bakery and small convenience store. The only drawback was the seating in the common area - it could have been more comfortable.

Lovely property with beautiful views of the Matterhorn and very close proximity to the gondola. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. About a 5-10 min. walk the center of the village, but welcome after a hearty meal. Taxi from train station w.luggage was 20 CHF. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider renting the apartment again upon a return visit to Zermatt.

Lovely apartment, exactly as described and very clean. Balcony with views of the Matterhorn is great for relaxing in the afternoon sunshine. Good location, very close to cable car and 5 minutes walk to town centre. Zermatt is great for walking in the summer with well marked footpaths. David was very helpful and responded quickly to email queries.
