The super quality accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms, large lounge with double sofa bed and balconies overlooking the Matterhorn and the river flowing through Zermatt. Great location, new chalet apartment, 100m from the Kleine Matterhorn Cable Cars. Ski to the door in Winter! Ice skating, sledging. Inspiring walks in Summer, tennis, golf, mountain biking and of course climbing. Zermatt is often voted the best ski resort in the world with its car free alpine charm and great mountain scenery. The most inspiring mountain in the world - The Matterhorn can be seen from the lounge window. There are over 120 restaurants in the village and great restaurants in the mountains all within walking/skiing distance from the apartment. There is a fun nightlife, cinema and night time ski events, sophisticated shopping and lots of interest for non skiers in the winter.

The apartment is in an excellent location to get on the mountain quickly, is on the first floor across from ski storage, is sufficiently appointed with linens and kitchen needs.

This was our first time to Zermatt so I can offer some advice to others now. The location is great for advanced skiers because it is very close to the Matterhorn Express gondola, but that’s limited to advanced areas (harder reds and blacks). Sunnega is the more common gondola and is on the other side of town. It has all types of runs, so we were taking the free e-buses each day.The tech in the condo could be updated. There’s an older Bose stereo without Bluetooth, and a small TV with cable, but no option to cast. If you are hoping to watch a movie as a family or something, you ought be disappointed.The mattresses are older, and the bedding is two twin beds in both bedrooms. If you push two together to make a larger bed, you still feel the separation of the mattresses.The unit is conveniently located on the ground floor, which is great. The shower was awesome. Having two full bathrooms was helpful. The kitchen is well appointed.There is a washer and dryer in the building, but you need Swedish Francs to use the machines, so I had to keep going to the local bar for change.I would give this 5 stars if they updated the mattresses (newer) and tech (bigger, newer TV). If neither of those matter to you, then you’ll love the place.
