Love how clean and esthetic the hallways are. Bathrooms are also very clean. The staff that checked us in was wonderful.

This has to be the nicest Hampton Inn in the country. Feels more like a boutique hotel. The hotel is a transformation of an 1890 silk factory. I had a room with a separate living area with 10-foot-tall exposed brick walls, tall windows with abundant natural light, comfortable bed with very nice down or down-like pillows. (I won't have to travel with my own pillow when I book here again). Bright clean modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Closet has a generous number of regular and clippy coat hangers - no doubling up needed. The dining room is really nicely decorated and was a relaxing place to eat and hang out. Also, there is a courtyard in the back under a huge palm tree where you can get some fresh air.
I wish there had been a microwave in the room. There is a communal one in the dining area which we used one night, but it was pretty far from our room. And more whole-grain bread and fruit choices with breakfast would be nice. But a free breakfast and all-day coffee station were much appreciated!

nice renovated building, clean
small rooms, tub faucets difficult to figure out, breakfast was drab, homeless came in while at breakfast and were helping themselves to food. A piece of my luggage was stolen in the parking lot as I was loading my car. Staff was little help in looking at camera or remedying the situation in any way! Took an extra $50.00 deposit/fee in case of what I’m not sure, that I don’t get back for 10 days!
