Everything is way too fancy.
Honestly, I don’t have a negative response. Everything seemed very pleasant to me

Breakfast was good. A bit overpriced for eggs toast and bacon.
The ottoman in the room was visibly stained on top. Surprised that this would be allowed based on Marriott standards.

I liked the central location and everything was within 10-15 driving distance. I loved the aesthetic and the staff were very responsive and friendly.
On the fourth floor the ice machine was broken with no signage indicating that it was non functional. I had to go to the third floor for ice. I paid for 2 rooms for our family and the other room my sister in law put down chocolate for like 10 minutes and it was covered in ants.
For me and my wife we didn’t have a laundry bag or an ironing board in our room, and I noticed some amber-yellow stains on our shower wall. Other than that the bed was super comfortable, but for $700 I expected at least an ironing board, laundry bag, and pest free rooms for the price, especially for Marriott.

the hot tub and pool area were nice
Ants all over our room. In our bed - on my face, husband's back. Bathroom covered. Just felt gross.

The room was bright and cheery and the bed was great. The room was spacious and modern and very comfortable.
The Internet was spotty and there was almost no hot water.

We liked being able to switch our room to the side of the hotel that is away from freeway noise, where it was VERY quiet. The bed was large and exceptionally comfortable. We sat comfortably on the little sofa quite often and liked the size of the room. Although this was the most expensive place we've stayed in the Petaluma area (we go there often), it was also the best. Free parking is wonderful.
We didn't like the way the heavy bathroom door swung closed by itself all the time. We especially like to leave doors ajar in the middle of the night so we can easily find our way around in the dark. We would also prefer a shower with a door that closes rather than a part-way glass panel (which would keep in the heat). And we think washcloths should be provided automatically, not by special request. The location was a little hard to find, but once we knew the way, it was ok. I never found a room safe -- none was advertised. In rooms of this quality, we expect to find a safe.

Location
We booked a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed. After we got to our room there was no sofa bed. We went back down to the front desk and they said booking.com had it wrong and they had no such rooms… nothing they could do. Also the shower was running and wasting water the entire time.. would not turn all the way off.

The location was good and convenient. I really appreciate the electric vehicle chargers - thank you for supporting clean energy!
I can't think of anything, although I wish that there were complimentary breakfast options, such as pastries or fruit.

Nothing great place to stay

Quiet, close to major wineries and other fun things, amenities are amazing, spacious rooms and kind front desk workers.
Getting to the property was a bit difficult at first. Homeless encampment at entrance to parking unsettling.
5.0 / 10.0
The room was clean.
The front desk people were very cordial.
Liked the fresh baked cookies offered every day.
The location is surrounded by homeless people that made me frightened to go out to take a power walk each day.
The food offered for sale morning and evening was horrible.
The towels were scratchy.
The hotel should provide a make-up mirror in each room.
The bathroom room door opening towards the door in to the room was poorly planned and inconvenient.

I liked that there were food options for us. Friendly staff and accommodating…
A bit expensive.
Water pressure too light and hot water waned quickly.
On way to hotel you pass a little 3-4 unit homeless camp.

I did not realize that breakfast was an extra $10, so I made a trip to Starbucks instead. Upon check in, I requested and was given a late check out of an hour later. Housekeeping did still come to the door. I thought I would hear the SMART train, but did not!
