The room was pretty clean, but had a slight musty smell. We thought the virtual check-in was a little weird, but it worked.

We paid 90$ for the hotel room which was a great deal, however we checked out a little after 9am and at noon my card was charged an extra $450. I called the hotel to ask why my card is being charged $450 and the person on the phone told me they would call me back. They never called me back. My girlfriend then called in around 2:30 to ask again about the $450 charge and she was told we were charged for a smoking fee. The problem with that is that we didn’t smoke in the room at all. In fact, we went out to the designated smoking area the only time we smoked. I have called back multiple times and now they won’t even answer my number. This place is a total scam. Overcharged me $450 3 hours after we left and we didn’t even smoke in the room and wouldn’t return a phone call to explain.

The place is getting pretty run down. Virtual agent check in is an annoying process. $150 deposit for a substandard property is ridiculous. There was guests who were openly smoking marijauna in the stairwell and our room reeked of the smell afterwards

The room had traffic noise and other loud noises. The bed was uncomfortable. It seemed like the mattress was damaged and not level. I’ve had much better stays in the same hotel, different room.

Breakfast is served too early. It ends at 9AM. When I’m on vacation/ holiday I sleep in until 9AM. It should be available until 11AM like most places. I booked thru hotels.com. I wanted to stay another night at that rate but was told I would have to check out and then book it through hotels.com again if I wanted that rate. I didn’t want to pack my luggage & then leave to room until 3PM.

didn't bother with breakfast because Fox news was on, which seemed hostile, esp in CA No place to separate recyclables in the room. I would never stay at this place again. I want to check in with a real person who knows the property and the area, not someone on a screen who doesn't know anything about the property and is miles an miles, perhaps a continent away. There's a point when a business tries to squeeze so much out of you while getting rid of so many people (like a present human being desk clerk), that you just have to say no. I've already told people not to stay here. The Fox news said it all.

My first experience with kiosk check in. Very odd in that there was someone at the desk not helping anyone. when almost done that person did check in another guest ??? I'm sure my opinion isn't going to change anything but to have to use a kiosk at a hotel ( the HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY) just seems odd and very impersonal.

This was less expensive than other hotels in the area. There were several construction areas for EV charging. There was a strong smell of either steer manure in the planters or sewer construction (presumably temporary). When leaving, the door had to be closed about 4 times to confirm it locked (it pushed open otherwise). The TV was readily fixed. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The shower worked well. The waffles were the best. Overall a good stay!

The remote check-in was awful. No one at the desk of the hotel. The chain seems to be consolidating all of their check-in to online with someone who is heaven-knows-where, not likely US. It takes much longer than a conventional check-in and there is no person at the desk to talk to.

This is an older hotel, no bells, no whistles but the room was nice, clean, with a super comfortable bed. There was plenty of free parking. The Zoom-style check-in was a little weird but surprisingly efficient. I would not hesitate stay here again, if in the area.
