This hotel is unique with imaginative decor. The beds are quite comfortable.
I wish the cups provided for coffee and tea were larger. I couldn’t figure out how to heat water in the espresso machine, and had to visit the kitchen to get hot water.

It looks cute
The café was never open. They charge for everything, even coffee pods/water in the room and they had a number to call if someone wasn’t around to help you but nobody ever answered the phone

The staff was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean and very spacious. We liked the extra chair and table and chairs in the room. Felt like we could walk around! Housekeeping came everyday. Location of the hotel was excellent - a short distance from the main bustle to keep it quiet, but downtown very close. Didn't have breakfast this time, but it has been really good in the past, especially the chocolate crepes! Value is good! They accommodated our stay. Had stayed here a few times before and will come back!!!
The bed was a little hard for my back. My wife thought it was fine. Should have asked for a bed topper, if they had one! Parking can be challenging as you may have to park in front or around the side.

Very unexpected and very funky in a very good way. A lot of thought has gone into putting this place together.
Parking on the street was not available in the evening and maneuvering a full-size pick up truck into their lot was a bit of a challenge. But I got in. Sat in the café in the morning waiting for about a half hour and never got the breakfast so I had to drive downtown to find a restaurant.

Fun. Different. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Close to town. The mattress WAS AMAZING!!!
The trailer had con webs and some of the shades need cleaning. Awning needs to be cleaned/fixed. Unfortunately we couldn’t sit outside because of wet chairs sitting right under the rips.

Nothing!
When I checked in, I just realized it was a trailer, which only had a desktop portable heater. This is unbelievably bad, especially considering the price charged! My wife and I were shocked by the conditions! We decided to not stay that night and left right away. On our whole life, we never stayed in a trailer, not to mention a paid one with $226! When I called the hotel the next day, I was told to contact Booking.com and the person who received a call tried to blame me for my own mistake and never apologize for the shabby condition! I want my money back!!!

I usually do not leave reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised with this little Gem in Petaluma. It felt like coming home every time I entered my sweet little room. I just loved all the French touch throughout the Hotel which was very well thought out and appointed. Comfy bed. Crepes for breakfast. I could not have asked for more.
....Maybe larger coffee cups for those who want to drink lots of coffee....

French-themed historic property walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Great on-site restaurant for breakfast.
Parents with kids playing after dark in courtyard.

Decor and continental feel.
Loved it all!

Such an eclectic and whimsical aesthetic with lots of French influence and flair. It was my first time staying in an Airstream trailer and it was such a fun and unique experience. The bed for me personally was comfortable but it is on the softer side (there is a foam mattress pad) so people who prefer firm beds may not appreciate it as much. The staff were friendly and courteous. It was far enough from central commercial area to be serene but still within 10-15 minutes walk.
There aren’t sufficient parking spaces to accommodate all guests. There’s a good sized private lot but all the spots were taken by the time I arrived back at the hotel at night but street parking was available.

Kitchen well furnished. Beds were very comfortable!
Loved the chickens in the yard. The hotel should block off the chickens from path to door. Chickens made mess on pathway that needed to be cleaned to avoid stepping in poop.

Loved the location. The ease of checking in. The room was clean. Loved the outside grounds and also the freedom to use the kitchen
Everything was great. Probably a roll down shade in front of the door to block out light when sleeping.

It was a very unique facility. We chose it primarily for the location, however, did not expect it to be a restored historical building. The listing was a bit deceiving. It felt more like an Airbnb, especially when we got escorted to our room.
It didn't have all the normal commodities of a normal hotel. We did not appreciate being told we would be charged for simple things provided in the room, like coffee. There was no temperature control in the room, and the restroom/shower arrangement was very strange. In lieu of a breakfast or even free coffee, they offered some kind of French crepe breakfast at their Cafe for $10. We chose to go across the street instead and get a 'normal' breakfast for a more reasonable price. Also, onsite parking was primitive and very limited. We were on motorcycles, so we struggled coming in and out on the loose gravel.

Eclectic setup and the quality of the hotel and the rooms.
Facilities were great as well and the breakfast was spot on.
Walls a little thin so noise carried but that is what comes with a house refurb, didn’t impact our stay

Boutique with loads of touches. Easy walk into downtown Petaluma. Loved the decor. Very warm welcome by staff.
Floor in my room could have been cleaner. The walls seem a bit thin. I could hear all of my neighbors and lots of hallway noise.

Fun and funky hotel decor, crepes in the morning, and great location, walkable to.lots of Petaluma downtown shops, etc. Loved the sweet, air conditioned Airstream trailer. Nice staff.
Some minor street noise from cars, but it didn't bother us too much.

Breakfast was nice. Drip coffee was nice. Location is good. Nice and friendly staff. Cute chickens and bocce ball game. You can check out bikes but I haven’t done that yet.
The bedding unfortunately had hair and blood on it that wasn’t ours.
Luckily they had other blankets in the closet.
No Paris French radio background like it used to.

the bathroom ...the all in one bathroom with no separate shower ...a curtain would be nice to keep the entire room from getting wet

Perfect location in downtown. A really nice and comfortable place to stay for every taste. Unique and cozy. The bed was super comfy
If you are staying at the second floor you can hear people in the stairs really well.

The overall ambiance was delightful and very retro. The man who checked us in was friendly and polite.
The coffee only had espresso and the shower was slightly inconvenient.

Don’t think you should charge for Nespresso pods

A little slice of France in the middle of Petaluma! I loved how they really stuck to the French theme with all the décor. Each room has vintage French posters, pictures, and chalkboards that have French proverbs written on them. You can also pay a little extra for breakfast, which included crepes and simple toppings and coffee or tea.
The staff could be a bit more friendly and welcoming. When we first arrived, there was a staff member outside and she saw us, but went back inside and closed the door, so we had to ring the bell to be let in. The staff in the kitchen also didn't greet us or offer any explanation when we arrived for breakfast in the morning, so we had to figure everything out on our own. These interactions were a bit disappointing given how cute and charming the hotel is in general.

Life changing experience! METRO hotel theme is all about "Learning French" with a school blackboard above the bed, framed pages of French Vocabulary teaching book (1950?). Excellent mattress, better than our own at home. TV, which we decided not to have at home, and which was such an attraction for me.
It took us a moment to understand a French proverb written in chalk on tha blackboard. We almost were in France. We loved it!
We loved it all.

Room had a cute little patio area. Nespresso machine in the room.
I didn't like that you had to pay for your coffee pods in the room. They charge for pretty much everything in the room. The breakfast is extra but i didn't read that anywhere when booking but i could have overlooked it. The breakfast was definitely worth the $9.00 extra for me but don't expect a lot of options for the crepes. It is strawberries, bananas cut up and a jar of Nutella. Still a great experience though.

One of the nicest places my family has stayed at in the US! My family of five (with three teens) stayed in the bright 2-bedroom cottage for five nights, which was so charming. We appreciated the tasteful, eclectic French themed décor which made the cottage feel homey and chic. There was plenty of space to spread out and to store & organize our belongings. The highlight was super comfy beds, with fluffy duvets, crisp sheets and proper pillows. We slept very well. The cottage is also very well appointed with a kitchen/lounge/dining area downstairs and bedrooms and bathroom upstairs (loved the clawfoot tub/shower and fluffy towels). Beautiful outdoor area (although weather didn't allow us to use it). My husband and I enjoyed the yummy crepes and coffee breakfast most days, which was convenient and delicious. Location is easy walking distance to downtown. We didn't really use the large screen tvs (3 in total - one in the lounge area and one in each bedroom), but wanted to point these out!
Parking lot was a little bit challenging if you have a larger car like we did (minivan), however street parking is also an option (if available) and very convenient. For the tea drinkers, would be great to provide some tea in the room (in addition to the Peets coffee), free of charge. Room description included a sofa bed in the living room, however there wasn't one which was a little disappointing.

We enjoyed The Metro Hotel! Very comfy & charming! The crepes & drip coffee were fabulous. It was enjoyable to have something fresh & delicious in the morning rather than a packaged pastry. This hotel is a true delight! Clean, bright, & cheerful!

No eggs, but the crepes and coffee were great.
You seem to have lost my request for a level in room, but it was remedied on arrival.

Everything is super cute and has so much character. The staff is all so wonderful and helpful, and we loved the wine tasting and crepe station! I also loved being able to take a bath in the cute tub and that every type of soap and lotion was available in generous bottles.
We were next to the kitchen so we did hear everyone walking around and closing and slamming cabinets and doors around 6:30/7am and we heard every step the people upstairs took so we weren’t able to sleep in very much, but aside from that everything was great.

This is a charming hotel with a delicious breakfast and coffee. The location is perfect for walking to downtown Petaluma restaurants and shops. Free parking is an added bonus. The decor of the hotel took me back to vacations in France. The room size was amazing and our bed was very comfortable.
I liked everything.

Very eclectic!! Don’t stay here if you’re boring, it’s super fun. Close by everything. Felt safe, stayed in the airstream.
