Haus Veronika

We arrived half an hour early. The host, a nice young man, was in the office. He got the keys out of the key box for us and showed us through the apartment and to the basement washing machine (it worked fine). He gave us our Otztal guest cards. Our arrival coincided with a summer cold snap and he returned promptly to our call to help bleed air from the heating wall units to get them heating properly. The bus stop is just down below the end window and the electronic dynamic timetable can be read by just looking out the window. We were in the unit up one floor that has the dining table bay window and a small balcony. Its a small mountain village but well connected by the regular free (with guest card) bus service. We did an amazing bus ride to Italy and back, free with the Otztal card. Also some great gondolas, the glaciers bus trip and therme - all free. Parking was easy.

At the time we were there a major construction project was underway in the back car park to build worker accommodation for the co-owned adjacent ski hotel which was under renovation. The construction was not too intrusive and provided some interest to watch the crane and concrete pours etc. We were the only guests. It snowed the first night. Be aware there is limited options in the village to eat in early summer. We used supermarkets in Solden and cooked in the unit or ate at cafes in Solden.

Asukoht kahe suurema suusapiirkonna vahel, bussipeatus maja ees. Läheduses ka matkarajad. Korteris olemas kõik vajalik, mugavad voodid, köök, privaatne dušš, teler, rõdu.

Plenty of space for 6 people in apartment no. 5. Excellent location for ski fanatics! Bus stop literally right outside the door. Ski bus up the valley to Hochgurgl/ Obergurgl lifts and down the valley to Sölden lifts. Both about 10 minutes bus ride.

Some might not appreciate the proximity to the road. Earplugs recommended for good sleep. Lack of clear information about the facilities and services. It was not clear in the description that the washing machine is not in the apartment, but in the ski cellar.

Det ligger rigtig fint mellem Sölden og Obergurgl og bussen går hele tiden.

Rengøringen var ikke i top. Det var primært badeværelset der ikke var ordentlig rent og afløbet i badet var stoppet. Derudover var der næsten ingen tryk på vandet i badet. Dog var der et fint bad/toilet i kælderen men uden lås.
