The apartment is very spacious and great value for money compared with other properties in the area. It has a sauna and steam room in the basement which is a real bonus. The beds are comfortable and you are right in the mountainside. There is not much open in summer immediately around but the main town isn't far (15/20 minute walk) and there is a funicular which takes you most of the way up/down which operates until 8pm. The hosts are responsive and accommodating - we had an issue with hot water in the apartment and they quickly offered us use of another apartment - the communication was friendly and clear so that was a real benefit. I'd recommend the apartment to anyone staying in the Solden area over summer - it could comfortably accommodate 6-8 people.

AlpenDiamond was less than 100 metres from the slopes and also the apres-ski bar Duo. Also it is very close to the elevator system (just across the slope) bringing you into the centre of Solden. There is a very friendly ski hire shop at the top of the lift.
