Quaint chalet on the hillside that gives you the true village feeling of being in the Austrian Alps great value for mone

While the location is on a hillside, it had all the trappings of a chalet from the early 80’s and a great homely feel. It’s very private and the family that run the place are discreet and helpful. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel but has the comforts of a 4 star hotel. The complimentary breakfast was ideal. The sauna was amazing and relaxing after a day of skiing. There was enough space to unpack and store the luggage over the closets. And all ski gear in the closets and hanging space. The washrooms could do with a full upgrade. The shower works fine but was a little small. Once you get used to the quaint designs it becomes a comfy abode from a day on the mountain.

The washrooms are a little small with the shower having 2 sliding doors with a hanging shower handle that drooped a little so not always staying in place over your head. Also the WiFi was not as strong and needs an upgrade as all media was buffering.

Nice place with great view overlooking the mountains and the village center.

The view from terasse is just wonderful, great breakfast, possibility to deposit ski and shoes in the ski depot next to the lift for free, sauna and dampf available every afternoon.

The weather was just terrible, but this cannot be planned in advance. On Friday the skibus did not show up, wearing ski shoes, this would be a problem.

Perfect for my week in Solden as I just needed B&B, spending evenings with friends at the campsite

Great views as it is high up. I had a single room at the back so not the best view but for the time I was in it not a huge issue. The room was small but spotless, great retro bathroom, hot, powerful shower and the towels were changed 3 times in the week. Bed very comfortable and the duvet and pillows light and warm. Excellent choices at breakfast. Taxis very punctual and fairly reasonably priced Good value for money. Owners always friendly and helpful

A bit of a hike up the winding steep hill road or up the short cut path across the hillside from the riverside walk . Could have had more ski buses going up and down the hill.

Loved the location, very close to the ski bus station. Great breakfast, perfect crispy bacon and a lot of options also for vegans. The room was very clean and it was even better than the photos. The owner and his family were very nice and helpful. They all spoke perfect english, which was great. Would definitely come back. Very nice value for the money. They can provide lockers near ski lift, for ski equipment so you don’t have to carry it everyday. Even though it was only a 2 minutes ride.

we just can’t get used to the (naked) sauna rules from austria.

Very good value for mony. Breakfasts were delicious. It was an open buffet with hot and cold food, milk, juices, tea, and coffee. Probably everybody can find something to himself/herself. My kid is very picky, but there was no day she went on slope on an empty stomach. Coffee is pretty good (i am picky about coffee :)) Sauna and steam room available on premises. It's a bit remote (you can walk but we used a car for getting to the centre, as after the whole day on a slope, my kid did not want to walk anymore). They keep roads clean and drivable even during snowy weather (snow ploughs clean roads very, very often). A room for your skis and boots available on premises. A beutifull view

Great hotel after a day on the mountain.

Breakfast was amazing and ready promptly at 0730 everyday. The staff was very nice and helpful with any questions I had. The room view was also a surprise.

The honest only downfall to this place was walking up the hill to get to it. But there is a bus that goes up and down regularly.
