Anna Maria Island Retreat

This was the most charming and beautiful places ever!! It was so wonderfully decorated- so beachy and literally has everything you can think of for your stay!! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were so comfy. The patio overlooking the bay was beautiful- such beautiful views and what gorgeous sunrises! We even saw dolphins from the balcony! The location was awesome- right across the street from the beach and nearby shopping, restaurants, so much!! And the beach items that we were able to use- chairs, umbrellas, even a beach cart to help easily transport things- so wonderful and made it so easy!! The hosts were amazing also... they continuously checked in before our visit and even throughout the stay to make sure we were all good. Can't wait to come back to AMI and will definitely book this place again!! It was beautiful!!

We loved everything about our stay!! The only thing that I could think of that would make it better is an elevator to get up to the units. We were on the 2nd floor, and while it was ok for us, we traveled with our 87 year old mom and the stairs were just a little difficult. But we made it work and always accompanied her up and down the stairs, but if there was an elevator, it would make things easier (even with luggage, groceries, etc.)

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely informative and helpful, especially with the emails, directions, and communication before our arrival. The property is conveniently located close to the beach, which was a big plus. We also loved that parking was included, along with everything we needed for a day at the beach—towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and even a fishing rod. It was very convenient and made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

What I liked least about the property was very minor. Although they provide a nice welcome box with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and other toiletries, I personally prefer when shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in wall-mounted dispensers, since they usually offer a larger quantity and are more convenient. Other than that, I really don’t have any suggestions for improvement. It’s an excellent place, and we truly enjoyed our stay!

Good location. Good view off balcony. Easy access. Fairly well equipped unit. Unit clean to the naked eye when entering. Would stay again if unit is upgraded.

Bedspread and shams in master stained and dirty. No TV in 2nd b/r. Garbage disposal inop. Unit needs deep cleaning. Couches are dirty and gives the unit a dirty feel. Walls thin and if people in unit up above just their walking is noisy. Kids running is very bothersome. $400+/night too high for the unit until it is upgraded. If higher during the season I'd stay elsewhere.
