Bermuda Bay Un9 elevator, view of beach, heated pool and spa, nice interior

Had a marvelous time. Local was great. I would recommend the property. The elevator was very convenient for some one who just had surgery.

Excellent stay at Bermuda Bay Club!! So close to beach. We flew in and Ubered everywhere and worked out great. Very clean. Beach towels and beach wagon, tube, noodles, and boogie boards all in basement. Water was beautiful! First day we saw manatee and dolphins! Pool also very nice and has shade in afternoon and was never that busy. We did not use the community bar b que but I saw other people use it.

Very nicely sized 3 bedroom condo with garage on lower floor, living area on second floor and bedrooms on upper floor. Beds are comfortable. The complex is nicely situated with a walk across the street to the beach, and walking distance to the restaurants in Bradenton Beach. Trolley stop is 50 ft away for trips to the north end of the island. I want to specifically thank our host Rick and the owner who clearly worked hard to get this property ready for our visit. At the time of our stay, a good 30% of the island rental units were still being repaired so we felt lucky they got the unit ready for us post-hurricane. Great comms the whole time as we approached our dates. Thank you Rick!

Would give this a 3.5 if possible. Trying to decide whether to give a 3 or a 4 I did a lot of soul searching. Wanted to be fair to the owner but also to those who are considering renting. First, location. It is less than 100 yards to the beach or to the intracoastal (via a boardwalk from the parking lot). It is only 1/2 mile walk to "town" where there are some shops and restaurants. Definitely walkable and with the lack of parking spots that is a good thing. The place is well stocked although someone should go through and throw out some discolored towels and wash cloths. There are duplicates of some things. We used a hand can opener and struggled with it only to find another one in a different drawer another day. Plenty of beach towels on hand. Beds were comfy. There were 4 nice beach chairs in the garage along with some pool noodles and a boogey board. There was one beach umbrella and a canopy. The canopy was on its last legs however and we didn't bother with it after the 1st time. There were various other beach things in the garage that we didn't use. So why only 3.5 stars? The place is showing its age. Some of the cabinet facing is starting to peel off. Carpets were well worn with some staining. The refrigerator is on the small side. Mstr bath sink handle hard to operate. Although the place was relatively clean it wasn't clean by our standards. There is mold/mildew in the shower. There was sand on one of the sofa backs. Mentioned the dingy towels. The elevator worked but the light bulbs didn't. The elevator was handy for moving things up to the living level. Put a new light bulb in and discovered there is no way to turn it off. That explains why the bulbs were burned out. The washing machine wasn't working. A call to the manager got an appliance repair man got out there the next day. A day or 2 later the faucet handle for the master shower broke. Since that was on the 4th the manager couldn't get anyone out there until the next day. The manager was very responsive in responding to our issues so no complaints there. There was another shower available so not a huge deal but then 6 of us were using the one shower. The layout of the place is nice and the sofas have recliners built in. Unfortunately one of them doesn't lock in the down position and would sometimes pop up on its own. So, bottom line, would we go back there again? Maybe. Not the Ritz but not a dump. The location makes up for some of the issues we encountered.
