About this farm stay rental
Beautiful stone farmhouse, typical of the Umbrian countryside, and with a splendid view of Mount Subasio. Just 7 km from the historic center of Assisi, the farmhouse consists of two bedrooms with bathroom, kitchen and living area, private patio in the garden. It can accommodate up to 6 people.
In the garden there is a small panoramic pool, hammocks and relaxation areas surrounded by aromatic climbing roses, lilacs and wisterias. The breeding horses graze around the property.
It is a place of peace and respect for nature, for those who really want to find the charm and atmosphere of our Franciscan lands.

Beautiful property in a stunning location. The property had been recently renovated to a high standard. Plenty of outdoor seating. The road up to the property is quite bumpy in sections. The pool is small so really just for cooling off. Marzia was very welcoming.

Beautiful mountainesk cottage with splendid views, big garden. Very well and stylish decorated appartments. Close to Asissie. Only reachable with google maps cause apple sends you to other side of the hill.:-) Marcia is a very nice and sweet host.

The pictures that Marzia has put up to show this house are great but in reality the actual property, garden and views are even better! The scenery is breathtaking and the interior of the house is sympathetically restored to be true to its country origins but punctuated with some very beautiful Italian furniture.
Marzia couldn’t be more helpful in the lead up to our visit and sent really good directions so we found the property with ease.
Although it feels remote, you are only about 3km from a really fantastic local restaurant/cafe/bar at the bottom of the road and very near to Assisi. We actually walked to Assisi one day and it took almost exactly 2 hours which was very beautiful. There is also a circular walk round the property that Marzia showed us which took around 45 minutes.
The pool is very small but we found it perfect for cooling down in after a trip away or on hot days and again, the views while you are in it are fantastic.
There is a very peaceful terrace outside the kitchen door with a table of chairs for outside eating as well as a hammock for getting on with your holiday reading!
There are so many beautiful Umbrian towns to visit within an hour of the property making it the perfect antidote to a busy day soaking up the culture and history of this extraordinary region.
We were two adults, our sixteen year old daughter and her friend. We all loved it!
