Very dissatisfied and disappointed

Not a lot. Location was great. Breakfast was meager.

Laundry facilities were unusable as machines broken down and needed repair. Difficult to climb into bed as it was too tall for me. Could not get wifi to work with my device.

Dead bug in the closet of one room, mini fridge was clean in the same room. Bugs crawling around on the shower floor of the second room.

The restroom was horrible. There were small roaches. The restroom vent did not work and the vent was full of dust. The shower had other peoples hair in it, the shower head was grimey and there was mold all over the edges.

Overall my stay was just ok.

Easy checkin/out. Honored my request for a ground floor room. Room temperature was good but I couldn't adjust the air stream up or down. It just blew straight out to the middle of the room. Would be nice if could direct the air flow up.

The first night I killed a roach in the bathroom that was between the toilet and the shower. The next morning there was a dead roach on the floor under the coffee bar. There was black mold on the shower walls above where the sliding glass doors are attached and there was black mold in the two lower corners of the picture that was hanging above the toilet. I was pleased to see a ceiling fan in the room. It was off. Good thing I looked at it before I turned it on because the fan blades were THICK with dust... very dirty. I was afraid if I tuned it on I would have dust all over the bed. There were several nicks and gouges in the walls. It was annoying having to open the cabinet to get to the fridge each time. It would be more efficient if it was maybe located under the coffee bar.

Google maps did not give me the right directions. I stopped at Holiday Inn and asked for directions.

Liked the fact it was on the first floor and had handicap access. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy. Very clean. Parking was great!

Dirty!

Pool was full of bugs - pill bugs, worms, beetles - and freezing. Bedroom walls had chipped paint and stains, and the mattress protectors had brown stains all over. There was black hair on the bathroom floor, peeling wallpaper in the halls, and a broken handle in the elevator that fell off and hit my daughter in the leg. We checked out about an hour after arrival and asked for a refund, but they ended up charging us twice instead. Thankfully I was able to dispute the charges with my credit card.

I Do not recommend this hotel!

Checked in and as soon as we opened the door to our room it smelled bad like sweaty, dirty laundry, the entrance and bathroom floor in the room were sticky and dirty, dust every where, none of the tables looked like they ever got wiped down, the lamp in between the bed's had brown spots like rust, also found a dead worm in the middle of the bathroom floor. I called the front desk and the guy seemed unbothered and than I called again and the girl was also so unbothered about my complaints, I asked her if I could get clean sheets and pillow cases and she was like "Yes, but you need to come get them (with an attitude) and change them yourself because they're was no cleaning person on site," and I told her that she could bring them and she was like "No I can't leave the front desk" and I told her yes you can there are two of you down there, so she finally brings them up but only the sheet set for one bed but enough pillow cases for both bed's which she dropped on the floor and looked at me like I'm not going to pick it up, so I looked at her the same way and asked what was her problem and she just gave me a smirk that she is not bothered or worried about my complaints!! If the hotel rooms weren't all sold out in town I would have checked right back out and took me and my family to another hotel!! I did record a video so the pictures you see are screenshots from the video!!

Extremely dirty, roach infested hotel with incompetent staff. Disappointing

Absolutely nothing, worst stay I’ve ever had.

It was extremely dirty, mold all over the bathroom that was clearly NOT cleaned, the staff was unprofessional and unhelpful, there was an INFESTATION of roaches in the room and yet I am still awaiting a call from the GM with a resolution. Of course, the staff chooses to blame us for not coming to them sooner when we weren’t in the room more than an hour or two before going to the river! Horrible hotel!!!! I book with booking constantly and have never had a stay like this.

Good value, easy to get to the Texas state campus

Rooms were spacious, easy access from highway beds comfortable.

Hotel is showing signs of aging. Carpet peeling up, paint cracking. Pool was freezing 🥶 and unusable. Breakfast was basically breads and cereals, coffee was yuck.

Good facilities good hotel

Everything was mostly good. I had a leaking toilet that they quickly fixed, the only thing not great was the room never got maid service the whole trip. It wasn’t a deal breaker, no big deal making up bed. But did have to go to front desk and ask for toilet paper twice. I didn’t make the room a mess so like I said not a deal breaker. Other than that everything was good.

Worst experience

Unfortunately, this was my worst experience at the Comfort Inn. I understand that this is not a 5* hotel, but it is not $50 per night! Everything is very dirty and dusty, especially in the rooms. I was very surprised, do you even clean the rooms? The walls are terribly dirty, the curtains are also in some kind of dirt, the carpet is in crumbs, dust on all surfaces. And all this in general could be overlooked, but in the toilet there was a dead cockroach right away. Unfortunately, it is extremely unpleasant for me and my children to be in such conditions. I went downstairs and asked to change the room. I will note right away that the girl at the reception was attentive and offered another room. Imagine my surprise when the next room turned out to be just as dirty, there were remains of glue/plasticine/or something dried on the carpet?!? I don’t know what it was. I suggested that the receptionist look at it herself, she offered a third option. It wasn't that different from the others, but we decided to stay there because it was clear it couldn't get any better. The next evening I found two huge cockroaches running around in the shower. After that my child refused to wash himself and was generally worried that someone would crawl on him at night. I'll emphasize again that I understand that this is a cheap hotel, BUT they still need to clean and do pest control. I will never come back here again.

Comfortable bed, big shower hot water great water pressure, cold AC, friendly staff… I didn’t catch her name but the morning clerk was a busy little bee keeping the breakfast bar stocked and clean between guest…place had some minor cosmetic damages to the walls and stuff but over all it was a nice stay after being on the San Marcos River for 3 days we came into the city for back to school shopping at some of the outlets

The side doors don’t open from the outside there is a smoking area out that door if you go outside you have to walk all the way around to the front to get back in although we don’t smoke we parked over there to make hauling in all our luggage and stuff needed for the baby easier and couldn’t get in the building was pretty inconvenient

The room was very spacious and clean other than the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable!

The shower was disgusting and the drain cover was not attached to the tile so if your foot hit it it would just pop off. The breakfast looked so unappetizing that we did not even attempt to try it.

The outside was nice.

There were 3 burned out light bulbs in our room. A floor lamp that doesn’t work and a clock radio that doesn’t work and the bathroom door was broken like someone kicked it. The shower curtain needs replaced.
