I was in awe!

This was my first time staying at the Extended Stay America suites and I was floored when I saw how nice the room was. Very clean, roomy, and the staff was awesome. Me and my guest had everything we needed on site and the location was great for dining and shopping.

I would "extended stay" there again, see what I did there LOL

Price was fair. Location was convenient and within a mile or 2 of everything I needed while also being somewhat secluded for a hotel so close to The Expressway. Traffic noise was not an issue. Very clean for the most part. Laundry rooms were clean. Plenty of machines. The staff were awesome and the cute little young lady at the check-in desk was very nice.

Couldn't pay with cash unless I stayed longer. Had to leave and find a place to load cash to my PayPal debit card and then come back. TV had such a poor picture it made watching anything almost impossible. All the lights had to be off with the shades drawn to be able to see anything. I've stayed at an extended stay in the past and my room had dishware, silverware coffee maker, pots, pans for cooking, but this time I had to ask for them to be brought to my room. I know it's a small thing, but having a coffee maker with some cheap hotel coffee is one of the perks I enjoy, LOL. The exhaust fan above the stove did not vent anything out of the room. I had to remove the filter if you could call it that and soak it in a sink full of hot soapy water to break loose food splatter and grease from previous guests, types any of the housekeeping workers wouldn't have noticed because you had to get up in there to see that it was keeping anything from being vented, but once clean it really didn't help the ventilation much more than it did when it was dirty. And the one thing that really kind of got to me was the shower. It was clean, but it was so slippery that I nearly fell getting in every time, and once in the shower, it was like trying to shower on ice, and there aren't any bars or anything really to grab onto to stop yourself from sliding around or falling. I will mention I have a permanent injury in my left leg that keeps it from bending at the knee, but it's never caused me any issues showering anywhere else before. I know they have to have smooth surfaces, especially in the bathroom for sanitation, and I'm sure that if I had mentioned I needed a room with handicap supports in the bathroom, they would have accommodated me. The laundry room floor was clean, but also slippery from other guests doing their laundry and splashing around the water and soap.

Good location but needs some work.

It was close to my daughter’s house and church. I like having a full size refrigerator.

The heater wouldn’t shut off because cold air from the windows kept triggering it to turn on so sleeping was very uncomfortable. The shower drained super slowly so I had water over my feet during my shower.

Employee who checked us in was dirty, shirt was filthy. The room had a smoke alarm going off as soon as we checked in, called the front desk 5 minutes later she came down and could not reach the alarm said she would be right back ( alarm still going off ) my husband was able to reach it take out the battery. He took It to the front desk and they keep it and did not give us a replacement!!!! Is this a federal offense? The room was a non smoking room but smelled badly of cigarettes. There was a spider in the bathroom. The pillows were soft and lumpy. The air conditioner didn’t work properly it was not getting cold . It was just a terrible experience.

Kitchette was convenient. Hotel was adjacent to a Texas Road House Restaurant, an easy walk.

Although sign requested it, smokers were not 100 ft from entrance.

The telephone didn't work. Even after telling the staff about, it wasn't fixed. The alarm didn't work. No instructions on how to change the time, because it was set 5 min. slow. I like exact time.

The soundproofing was terrible - we could hear someone walking above us all night and got very little sleep. The chairs in the room were all extensively stained.

Overall the rooms are perfect love staying at the Holland,OH area

The water when we took showers was very cold 🥶, we turned the dial up all the way hot and it got cooler then colder but the sink and kitchen sink was perfectly hot. #coldshowers And they should have the plates, cups, and silverware already in the room If your gonna put a kitchen there.
