Really consider if you want to stay here

The room was quiet.

Elevator was down. So climbing to the 2nd or 3rd floor was out of the question. I was down graded to a queen suite which has damage to the bathroom shelving, walls and cigarette burn on the night table. I even had a nice spider hanging out by the bed. Coffee is offered but no decaffeinated. That's not good for those of us who can't have caffeine.

This was a very comfortable place to stay and I was able to have my dog with me also.

They were under construction while we were there. We never heard a thing. The check-in staff was fast. The price was fabulous!

The room was spacious and fairly comfortable but it’s a very no frills stay and the property could have been cleaner.

The lobby seemed nice, the morning coffee was complimentary and the room was spacious.

The hallway was dirty, the bathroom door had a hole punched halfway thru it and there were stains on the couch. I was worried about the condition of the room because of the $150 deposit they charged me at check in.

Poor condition of property Very poor customer service. Food was ruined of mine due to a defective fridge. They wouldn’t accommodate the decision. This resulted in costly food going bad. I wasted so much time while staying here because I needed help and they made it very very difficult

The room itself was great. Plumbing awful. The water filled up sink when I washed hands. Water filled tub whole showering.

I was put on a floor where they were painting. The fumes were horrible. Couldn't get to elevator. Had to take emergency exit. Ice machine out of order and soda machine out too.

The front desk Jose was very respectable and nice and understand the situation because I took me like 4 and 1/2 hours to get checked in because of all these things that booking.com did not say like breakfast and no deposit and all that stuff but it was wonderful but my room was horrible. I had black water coming out of both my faucets. There was no water in the kitchen area and then I'll only have was hot water in the bathrooms. My phone didn't work. I really probably about it three different times. Nobody came back when somebody came up late last night and then he proceeded to tell me about how homeless he was going to be in a few days and felt like I was trying to get money out of me and they still didn't bring back the phone and I didn't got the cord and and couldn't use the phone all day yesterday. I might have broken phone and had stuff to do and it's nonsense

The rooms weren’t clean properly. There were stains all over the couch and also leftover food in the fridge. It stank up the fridge and there was also a pair of socks left inside our room from previous night I’m assuming.

We slept here. That's about it.

Rolled in late at night. Just wanted to collapse. There was hair in the bed, a blood stain on the blanket, (It hadn't been washed) hair in the sink and all over the bath tub and shower. Being so late, we tossed the blanket aside, and did not use the shower. The next morning we found an adult toy under the table by the tv. I asked for a refund, and the front desk person said she'd get it done, but it never happened. After staying at this hotel for years when it was the Shilo, and now OFTEN since it became Sojourn, we are sorely disappointed. We thought we'd try one last time today, and now they don't offer extended parking. I waited ten minutes on hold and she never came back to discuss. We are done. Hopefully it sells again, and gets better!! I still have photos of it all, if management would like them.

Large rooms but not in the best condition

Large rooms, more like a suite with a divider between the bed and the living area. Two TVs, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Room was quiet; never heard any noise at night and the A/C unit was far away from the bed and also very quiet. Very convenient to I-205, Portland airport.

Complex used to be a Shilo Inn--a brand I like--but the property now looks run down. Leather on the desk chair was worn off; carpets looked a little threadbare; bed was somewhat lumpy. Burned out light in the bathroom (replaced when I requested it). Staff not at the desk in the evening; had to wait quite a while to check in before anyone came (no one was present in the office behind the counter). Although there is a large area that probably once served a continental breakfast, that is no longer available. There are no restaurants in easy walking distance.

Bathroom door locked me in the bathroom. There is a phone in the bathroom but no way to call out. My husband has to go out to the desk and they sent a guy in who basically had to break the door to get the defective lock off. They harassed us four times for our dogs. There was no dog policy given to me when I checked in. They called three times and came to the door demanding payment, which I did and made us late to our venue. Carpet stained. Bathroom grout filthy. Water stains on the ceiling. Awful.

Overall, a good property. Needed a new toilet seat in the bathroom.

Nice structures, clean property except for incident when random person knocked on our door at 10:30 pm asking if we lost a baby and that they brought it to the front desk. Needless to say, the front desk was not aware of any baby incident. Furthermore, we discovered the security cameras were not working on the second floor where we stayed. Security might be an issue.
