The location was extremely close to the airport and the hotel also offered shuttle service to the airport at early hours in the morning which was a huge plus. If you are staying in Portland solely to be near the airport, this is a good option.
Hotel was being remodeled (I think??) during our time there and looked very run down from the outside. The La Quinta sign wasn't even on the building and caution tape was everywhere. I understand things happen, but a heads up would've been good beforehand as the place looked very sketchy from the outside because of this.
Additionally our room had a sticky stain on the floor??? Cleanliness wasn't the best. Breakfast was just ok. A bit cramped and small room but it did the job.
I wish I could rate this place better, as La Quintas we've stayed in other cities have all been fantastic!
Also note if you do not have a car you will need to Uber to anywhere as the hotel isn't really walking distance from anything fyi!
