Location close to the airport is good.

The shuttle to the airport is VERY unreliable. I waited close to an hour to get to the hotel. The next morning the shuttle driver didn’t show up so the hotel desk manager drove us to the airport late, after the shuttle driver didn’t show up, despite me having confirmed numerous times about the shuttle the prior day. The desk manager just made fun of me and then the next morning the shuttle driver never even showed up!

Our stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Reno was quite pleasant. For an older room, it was extremely clean and not as outdated as expected, which was a nice surprise. The bed was very comfortable, not hard like the usual concrete motel beds, making for a great night’s sleep. The only downside was the overwhelming bubble-gum-like smell when we first opened the door, it was a bit much. The motel was surprisingly quiet, with no banging or loud noises during the night, likely due to its location in a more residential area outside the main hustle of town. This added to the restful experience. The front desk clerk, Mark, wasn’t particularly warm but was efficient, checking us in quickly and providing clear, brief instructions. Breakfast was the standard hotel fare: scrambled eggs, sausage patties, dry cereal, mini muffins, english muffins, fruit, pancakes, yogurt, and a selection of juices. Nothing extraordinary, but it was sufficient. Overall, a solid choice for a comfortable, no-frills stay.
