Good place to stay, but need new keurigs and quiet guests

I liked the fact that the room felt like home and that we had a nice size fridge with a freezer in it.

They gave us a room with a Keurig that was broke and did not work. They need new ones. They also let some guests stay next to us on our final 1-2 days of our stay, and they made noise all hours of the night. We called the office twice and they still made noise.

Great price, nice and clean room in a great location.

The room is of good size. There is a desk that I can work with. WiFi is working well. The room is clean and the smell is clean. Onsite parking is also available. Elevator is old-fashioned but in well working condition. Vic, who is the reception at the time I check in and check out, is also nice, super friendly and welcoming.

Great one night stay, only 6 min away from Kaiser hospital.

Very clean modern room had Keurig coffee maker & pods, mini frig with freezer, microwave, plus couple real utensils , plates, and wine glasses. That was impressive!

Can hear a lot of noise of doors slamming and people walking and moving things around upstairs.

The outdoor smoking areas were just outside the windows so the room smelled of smoke even though it was coming from outside. I could not use the fan or AC because it pulled in outside air. The smoking areas should be moved completely off property.

Cherry Orchard Inn doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't

The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet. Looked pretty much like the pictures. This is a motel - if you are expecting something more you will be highly disappointed. The inside of the room was better than the outside and hallways would suggest. Good value for your dollar.

The room could have been cleaner. Sheets had a hole in them. WiFi was brutally slow, basically unusable.

I stayed at Cherry Orchard Inn both in 2024 and 2025. The property is generally well cared for, comfortable, clean, in a great location. I particularly appreciated the great water pressure and free parking available at all times. The front desk staff led by the manager Vic is gracious and helpful.

Suggestions for improvement: 1) the front desk staff could pay a bit more attention to the requests included in the reservation. Even though they confirmed by an additional email that they will try to meet these, no room was available per my requests. I appreciated the fact that Vic went the extra mile to fix this, even though that meant I had to move to a different room next day. 2) The room wear and tear varies greatly from one room to another. A handyman should touch up regularly. 3) A food truck is parked in front of the hotel, on the El Camino Real side. This is not the hotel’s fault, but making efforts to help relocate it would benefit the hotel greatly.

The rooms are a little modernized. The young man at the desk was very nice.

The elevator is 100 years old, slow and small. The location was okay, but the signage was bad and we passed it up completely at first and had to turn around and double check on how to get there.

The room was basically the only nice thing. The shower had pressure. The staff are welcoming and nice.

The elevator and interior areas need to be updated. The water for the shower doesn’t stay hot that long. The shower curtains need to be replaced. The volume on the remote for the tv sucked the button had to be held down to turn it up or down. Couldn’t turn it down by one count at a time. Same for changing the channel.
