Didnt like checking in amd paying $700 a night in finding out later we could’ve got the room for $257 per night
Felt like the owner was not extremely honest with the pricing
And rooms were just below standard

There was easy patking.
It looks like there's dust on the floor and under the bed. A broken hanger

Me and my girlfriend came up here for a competition and this place has an amazing breakfast which helped for fuel. No deposit fee. Great staff and it had a lot of things close by.
Late at night and while we were leaving, we had a lady act very weird and being noisy. The staff came out to check on us which they handled the situation well.

The Breakfat was okay.
The bed was hard. I heard people come into the other rooms late the night.

The property is clean, staff is pleasant, breakfast was a good value.
The AI generated rendering of the hotel gives a false impression that it is modern. Unfortunately, the rooms ( very clean) are dated, dark, and have a lingering smell. This odor was also present in the lobby. The shower was old and dated, my kids had a hard time turning the faucet on and off. This is a motel, with a pool.

Manager had a very good personality and was very accommodating.
There are about 4 Best Westerns on El Camino Real in Santa Clara, and we went to the wrong one first.

Surprisingly good water pressure in the second floor shower!
Central location
Larger room
Good black out curtains
Liked having fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room
Shower curtain didn’t contain all the water from the high pressure shower, leaving a puddle on the bathroom floor. Can hear the road noise if you are on side nearest El Camino, but the fan provides good white noise to drown it out.

Good location to where we were going
Carpets were dirty, bed was hard. When making the booking 3 weeks earlier I had requested a ground floor room due to hip and knee problems. Was not accommodated. We have stayed at many Best westerns and this was a little disappointing.

great location. good value. comfortable bed.
No common area to meet visitors and conduct business. Breakfast area was great but closed most of the day. Another thing is that I was told not housekeeping because of short stay which was great for me as I was suffering from jetlag. But housekeeping attempted to enter my room anyway.

A fight broke out in the parking lot at 12 AM drunk clients in a lower level
Room. I was hoping the management would take care of it. I had a 6 AM business meeting in town and was traveling alone so wanted to stay out of things. By 215 am the whole event escalated into weapons fighting screaming, and most of us locked in our rooms as I called 911 since management was not answering the phone and had locked themselves in the office. I finally got a hold of somebody in the office after I called 911 and they said they had tried to get the police there but no one had come for two hours? The police were there within 10 minutes of my 911 call, the front desk manager said he was afraid And I asked why he let it escalate to the violent event when there was screaming and arguing at midnight. It should’ve been handled then. In the morning, I asked for a refund and wanted to check out leaving for the second
Night I booked . I was not staying another night and I was harassed by the management and had to argue to get a check out and any kind of refund. I let them know I had already called Their customer service 800 number at 3 AM when customer service/corporate could not reach them as they did not answer the phone during the event and they were
Filing a management report. Everything was noted on my reservation. Not a safe place to stay, horrible management and best western policies. not letting me check out the next day with a the refund for the night since I had no sleep and was Terrified there alone . It was a nightmare altogether. The worst part of all of it is, I was supposed to stay up the street at another hotel, and when I checked in, I made a point of asking the management about the safety of the area as it’s known for crime he assured me they’ve not had problems at that hotel, and put me on the second story since I was alone. Didn’t seem to matter.

Good stay in the Santa Clara area, on the main road, with good comfortable rooms. Breakfast is good and friendly hotel staff. Parking is next to the room door (if staying on the first floor)
The room furniture is outdated. The water pressure in the shower is low and varies from room to room (I switch rooms)

The enthusiasm of the front desk Host was infectious. We had a lively discussion and while doing so, I was able to glean interesting information of the local community.
I found the entire stay to be pleasant except for the woman at the buffet breakfast who thought a speaker phone conversation was acceptable in our shared space. Luckily the attendant was able to correct her lack of etiquette.

the staff at this property were exceptional, from the woman who checked us in to the man responsible for stocking and cleaning the breakfast buffet. You can tell these people enjoy their jobs and take great pride in providing the guests an excellent experience!
Nothing.

Within walking distance to a grocery store.
Cooked eggs - the ones served were like eating yellow grits, AWFUL!! Felt very insulted by the card in the room re: amenities for sale if someone wants to buy them...all it was "if you are thinking about stealing anything (which we would not), we will assume you really like the product and wiil not mind being charged for the item".

This hotel really did hit the sweet spot. Beautifully remodeled and clean, it was an oasis when we needed to spend an unexpected night near the Kaiser Permanente hospital. The front desk staff kitted us out and gave us a comfortable room. The beds were just right, pillows plentiful, the wifi swift and streamy, fridge, microwave and all other amenities waiting for us. I checked out a beautiful pool but without swim trunks decided to give it a pass.
While it seemed to fill with other guests, we could not hear them settle in. There was a Lucky's grocery store, Big Lots and many restaurants within a few hundred feet. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, with the fanciest coffee machine I've ever seen, groaning and whirring while it mixed my brew. I stood there in awe and anticipation.
Thanks to this place, my hats off to team Best Western for a grand remake!
The chirps from guests locking and unlocking their cars as they made early departures.

location
exterior entrance (had I known this I would not have booked this hotel). Bed and pillows were not very comfortable; towels were skimpy and they only provided 2 towels for 2 persons (1 each). tv remote did not include a sleep function.

The hotel employees are very nice and hospitally, they are very supportive for all our needs.
Meanwhile, the location is also good.
